About this listen

Ross Campbell had a thing for Callie Jones when they were growing up, but she was one of the “Jones girls”, from the richest family in the county, far above him, untouchable. Now Ross, deputy for a corrupt county sheriff, finds Callie stranded in the pouring rain on the side of the road - on her wedding day.

Ross gallantly gives her a ride, but when the wedding is a disaster, Ross is the rock that keeps Callie standing. Her high school crush has grown up to be a gorgeous, hard-bodied man, as considerate and charming as he is attractive.

Callie has always been warned to stay away from the Campbells, the wild cowboys nice girls like her shouldn't want to want. But can they keep things casual when something far deeper is pulling at them, encouraging both Ross and Callie to surrender?

Interesting and entertaining!

I'm not much of a Cowboy fan, but I've found each of these stories to be very interesting and entertaining. Ms. Ashley has given a well thought out story line and each book flow's flawlessly into the next, although, you can read these out of order and still get the gest of each story. Each book is basely telling the tail of two set's of brothers, and they just happen to be trick horse and bull riders. They also share a rivalry between both sets of brothers. Each book has shown how each of the brothers are falling in love and starting their families. The gest of the story is one brother, Ross, is not part of the family business. He has chosen to take a job as a Deputy and unfortunately he is working with a Sherriff that is turning his back on the drug crime that is happening in his area. He, (the Sherriff) is also taking kick-back money to look the other way. Ross, after getting together with the love of his life Callie, has decided to run for his bosses job. That's when the trouble starts. The head drug dealer does not want Ross in that position and tries to scare him into pulling out of the upcoming election. Ross finds that he's not along in his fight to do right by his home town, and that his friends support him to the fullest.

Each book so far has been read by Eric Dove, and he does a wonderful job as always. He is the reason I even began to listen to these stories. He is one of the few narrators that you can depend on to deliver an excellent job!

All in all, this series is well worth the credit, and if you are not a true fan of cowboy's this series just may convert you like it did me!

A must listen from Jennifer Ashley and Eric Dove!

Jennifer Ashley is one of my favorite go-to authors! With audiobooks, though, the narrator can make or break even the most fabulous of stories. Enter Eric G Dove. He’s a great narrator and I really enjoyed his interpretation of “Ross”.

The whole series was very good...

I really enjoyed this whole series. Not to long or to short. I hope there will be more to follow.
