Wonderful audiobook

What I love the most about this audiobook is the real-life examples and conversations, which made me understand everything effortlessly. The situations are relatable, making it easier for me to employ the techniques and tips in dealing with my two kids.

Disciplining was always hard for me because as much as I didn’t want to scold them, I needed to do it. It made me feel guilty, and I didn’t want to seem authoritarian too. This book gave me an insight into how I can deal with my children’s misbehavior without looking like a total tyrant.

A really helpful parenting audiobook

I have gone through so many boring books about parenthood and guiding young children, but only a few helped and this one is among them. I am a mother of three wonderful and cheeky little boys aged 6, 4, and 3, and this audiobook is helping me deal with them. It helped me improve my communication with my children, and this taught me that yelling at them will never be the answer. My kids are all boys, and are quite energetic, which is why I have issues with disciplining them. I can’t thank the author enough for placing all that wonderful information in the audiobook. I am so glad I bought this.

Good in general but narration is a bit bland

It contains great points and tips on how to communicate with children. Any parent will learn from this audiobook because it contains a wealth of information that is useful and applicable to raising kids. The real-life examples are also excellent and relatable, which makes the tips and techniques even more easy-to-understand and applicable in raising the little ones.

The narration just doesn’t sit well with me. I find it a little boring, and sometimes I just doze off while listening to it. But that’s just me. Anyway, it’s good, and I will still recommend it to others.

Must have for parents raising toddlers

If you are raising a toddler, this is the audiobook you must have. I am a mother of a very energetic three-year-old girl, and I have a lot of issues in communicating and disciplining her. But this book has a lot of information and techniques that will help parents in dealing with little ones. The stories and conversations are relatable and fun, which makes it more immersive and the tips easier to employ in raising the children. A total must-have for young parents.

Wonderful but writing style's a bit cringey

The audiobook has undeniably great content. It has good tips and gives you great insight and a fresh perspective on child-rearing. I only have issues with the writing style, because some parts are making me cringe every time I listen to them. I know a lot of people will say that it’s relatable, but to me, it seems a little fake.

But, anyway, that’s just me. And like I said, it has good content. The book isn’t awful, and it’s informative. This will help a lot of parents out there. Great job.

Communication is key

My daughter has issues with delayed speech, so she gets frustrated when she finds it hard to deliver what she wants to say and express. Luckily, this audiobook helped me understand my child even more and gave me a glimpse of the situation from her perspective. I love that the contents don’t come off as preachy and condescending, just like how most parenting books go. The author did a wonderful job in this book, and I am glad I purchased it.

Perfect audiobooks for moms and dads

I love the fact that it is written in a very no-nonsense and approachable way. The scenarios are so relatable that I find them funny when I imagine them happening in my life, and it helps the parents absorb and apply the tips on how to communicate with their children. How I wish this book existed when my parents were raising me.

My parents were too strict and tough on me, and I grew up in a family where being loving and affectionate is seen as annoying. Now, I try to make my children feel that they are loved and to make sure that they grow in a warm and supportive environment.

I am enjoying and learning a lot from this book

I am now a grandmother, and with young children around the house, this audiobook helps me and my daughter to deal with the little ones. I love how the contents of the book are realistic, and how it is written in a friendly way that people will like. The strategies are well-explained, and most of the suggestions are working for our little girls at home.

It is more than just a guidebook for practical parenthood. It is also an eye-opener for parents to communicate with their kids more, and to understand that these little ones have feelings and thoughts that need to be acknowledged.

This audiobook gives great advice

I have two kids who are aged 2 and 4, and I have been looking for a book that would help me and my wife to communicate with them effectively. After checking out this audiobook, our eyes were opened, and we were given a different perspective on how we raise our kids. This one went above my expectations. The scenarios and conversations are relatable, and it is written in a light tone that makes you feel less intimidated. Most parenting books sound preachy and disdainful, but this one isn’t, which made it even more awesome. The author did a good job.

Not preachy

I don’t really like parenting books because the content just sounds so condescending and judgmental. Some authors even write it in a preachy way, and I don’t appreciate that. But with this audiobook, it’s different. It is written in a friendly and engaging way, so you won’t feel intimidated. I love the wealth of information in this book, and the scenarios, conversations, and situations are relatable. This audiobook is simple, informative, and very encouraging.
