About this listen

Kathleen Turner wasn’t expecting to fall in love when she came to Indianapolis a year ago, much less with two very different men. And not just any men: Brothers.

Blane Kirk, former SEAL turned attorney, is every woman’s dream man. He’s also a playboy who changes women as often as he changes his tie, and trying to hold on to Blane could only break Kathleen’s heart.

Commitment is a foreign word to Kade Dennon, assassin-for-hire and genius hacker, and nothing about him is safe. A future with Kade would surely end in disaster - for both of them.

Past betrayals come to a head, and the choice Kathleen makes could sign her death warrant. Everything’s at stake as Blane, Kade, and Kathleen reach the Point of No Return.

Excellent!

Kade is in it up to his eyeballs and he knows it! The only way to keep Kathleen safe is too back to her and guard her himself. It will kill him, but there's no other way.
Blaine's life is shattered. Kade ran off under unreasonable circumstances. Kat moved away without a word, refusing to let him take care of her and baby. He's alone and can't understand how it got so twisted up.
Kathleen had to get away. Kade was gone. Blaine's off to step in and take Kade place was wrong in every level she could think of. It was time go home and start over; with her baby, alone.
But the true puppet master isn't through with yet. A near death and a desperate call puts the 3 back together plus Brenna in a race to find whose calling the shots and the hit man before they all end up dead. And even then.... is it really over? Will it ever be?

Loved the suspense, not so sure on the romance

I have a lot of mixed emotions about this series. First the writing is very good and every single book held my interest. There is a lot that happens in each book and I don't think you could be bored.

What I didn't really like was the love triangle between brothers who had a special bond. The heroine came between them when I think they both thought no one ever could. I didn't like that. I'm also not sure if I like who she ended up with. To me, because of how this started...it felt too much like cheating to me.

I've loved all the other series I've read from this author and this is the only one I've struggled with the love triangle. I think it was written a bit differently and it just wasn't to my liking like the others. I still want to give it props for such an interesting series outside of the romance aspect of it.

Very good narration

This book wraps up this series in a very entertaining way but with some angst. The wonderful characters and the suspense are great. This narration is very good!

Somebody’s got to win!!?

Where does Point of No Return rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It took some getting used to listening to the voice of the reader, but the story itself was five stars forever.

What other book might you compare Point of No Return to and why?

Point of No Return ranks right up there with Fifty Shades, Bared to You, and This Man!! The three main characters were filled with so much emotion, that you laughed, cried, and got angry which is what makes you not want to put the book down.

What about Angela Dawe’s performance did you like?

It took some time for her voice to grow on me.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I wanted Kathleen to stop getting hit in the head so many times but that aside, the book hooks you and holds your interest throughout all five books of the series.

Any additional comments?

I think that if a love triangle can ever end with a win/win scenario, this one deserves applause. After reading the four previous books, I did not expect this outcome. I have mixed feelings because I hoped both Blane and Kade would “get the girl”! Impossible I know with only one girl and two alpha males, but it was an ending worthy of the Kathleen Turner series. Tiffany Snow did not disappoint her readers. If you have followed the series since book one it was worth the wait!
I am hoping for one more book... maybe.... Tiffany. I will miss the characters but Kathleen's skull needs a break. Her character received more blows to the head than any girl should suffer. I enjoyed the journey and growth of all three characters and can’t really imagine any other outcome. No spoilers but just one question. Is there more to come for these characters or is this series concluded? Inquiring minds want to know. It just seems like Tiffany left the door open for more even though the epilogue took us five to six years into the future.
I plan to take this series to the beach this summer for a reread. This is a must read folks. Thanks Tiffany Snow you did great!!

The Cherry On Top!

This is a great book to end this series! I listened to all 7 books. This is my second time listening to the complete series. Any book which I'm compelled to re-read automatically gets a 5- star rating.
Narration is great as well. I like to listen at a 1.25 speed.

I enjoyed these books but…

I really wish Kathleen hadn’t been nothing but the damsel in distress almost the whole series, especially with her being the main character. Like, she saves Blaine once in the first book, which is nice. But for the rest of the series, it’s always him or Kade saving her.

I also couldn’t help but notice that despite living in Downtown Indianapolis, Kathleen still needed to drive everywhere she went, even the grocery store. Downtown Indy must just not be a very good place.

Also, I have to say, I love that Kathleen didn’t take Blaine back after what he did. (Choosing to believe his uncle without question over her) No recovering after such an accusation of cheating.

Great ending to the series.

I love a happy ending. The Narrator did a good job on all of the books. I'm glad it was the same one throughout. This series was so full of drama that I needed this ending to be good and long, and it was. I could of gone without the whole hospital scene near the end. It was too long and I didn't really need the details. It didn't add anything to the story for me. I am so glad that she finally made a choice and it was the one I wanted!

Not the brother I would have picked

This is the last book in the Kathleen Turner series. It is full of the same action that the other books had. Kathleen is in trouble and Blaine and Kade are willing to do whatever it takes to help her.

The one good thing is that you find out what brother she chooses. And you find out fairly quickly which one that is. It is not the one I would have chosen but, it is all good in the end mostly.

I am really surprised that Kathleen hasn't had any lasting injuries from all the times that she has been hit in the head. You would think that either Blaine or Kade would have taught her some self-defense or something. But she manages to get out of most of the problems she finds herself.

This was a good ending to the series and almost all of the loose ends are tied up nicely. I would like to know what happens to the brother that Kathleen doesn't choose and how he fairs but, that is for another series? This is a fun and exciting series that will have you laughing and crying and wishing that you were Kathleen all at the same time. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a series like this one.
