Now that he's got an in with the Three Sisters, Julius has become a key pawn in Bethesda the Heartstriker's gamble to put her clan on top. Great story, Amazing Narrator!

I enjoy Rachael Aaron's characters and stories - both are complex and interesting, with a touch of humor that does not diminish the action at all. However, the true star is narrator Vikas Adam, who comes across as a full cast of male and female characters with their own personalities, speech patterns, and accents. He brings the books to life with his rich vocal characterizations. Both author and narrator are highly recommended.

Fun and well performed

The book is very entertaining. The reader did an excellent job with each character having a distinct voice.

Vicoss Adams is so far my favorite narrator!

Love this series. Great plot and loveable characters (even the villains). The narrator's different voices are amazing.

Fabulous narrator! Julius & Marci are too cute for words. Need to start with Nice dragons finish last so you are up to speed. Rachel Aaron is a wonderful author and while I am about to start book 3 I am already looking forward to book 4 being released

DragonMother & MotherNature

What is worse... a Mafia mother Dragon or a Angry MotherNature LadyoftheLake.... Is it Fate or FreeWill . The threads of future possibilities, cosmos, ripes in spacetime... This b00k has it all, and it is AwSume!

Easily my favorite genre bending series ever

Aaron built a solid world and complex characters, twisted the narrative of toxic tropes pervasive in our culture and made a page-turning adventure with depth.

I was on the edge of my seat the entire time

After finishing book 1 a couple of months back I knew I couldn't resist starting book 2. It took me a little bit (other books had to be read), but I finally got my opening to listen to this!

The story starts about a month after the ending of the last book. Estella is back in the game with a new and more deadly plan. With Heartstriker futures disappearing and Algonquin's dragon hunter on the move, the stakes are higher and more deadly. Julius is their only hope in saving the Hearstrikers.

This was even better than the first one! I was hooked from page one and I could barely tear myself away from the story! Darn life getting in the way of my listening time! *shakes fist*

Poor Julius. He just wants to be happy and make a living.

I love Amelia and Bob and Marci and Justin. They are fun. I even like Chelsea now. WHA??? She is badass, but there is a heart under all that and it made me smile to see it.

I do feel for Estella, but she goes too far in this one.

That cat....I didn't see THAT coming.

The ending was also a surprise for me. HOW IS THIS GOING TO WORK???? I would've gone a different route, but maybe that is because I am more dragon then Julius is ;) But yes...I see his point.

The narrator is fantastic. I adore him. He really knows how to bring the story to life and all his voices are different. And there are A LOT of character running amok. Kuddos to the narrator!

Overall, I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvved this one. It was good. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. You MUST listen to this series instead of reading it because the narrator is AWESOME. I'll give this 5 stars of course.
