Publisher's summary

A complete trilogy and a bonus standalone, all-in-one!

Barrett Bradshaw was always a bookworm, but no amount of reading would prepare him for his childhood crush turning him into a vampire. Even more absurd, it turns out that he was never fully human at all.

Now enrolled at Nosferatu Academy, an institution in the demiplane known as the Netherveil, founded for the sole purpose of educating the next generation of vampires, Barrett finds himself dealing with cocky rivals, quirky love interests, eccentric teachers, and a new taste for blood. Also, it turns out that even the great Count Dracula expects big things from him...

Two fun stories

Both stories were very interesting and humorous with action packed chapters and suspense, all while keeping the dialogue interesting and engaging to the listener

Classic vampires with a twist

SPOILERS! I love the premise of Dracula and another vampire deciding to make half vampire hybrids. I also love the idea of them making a school for them. The first two books were amazing. The problem was the third one. The introduction of futuristic soldiers killed it for me. It would have been fine if a god's heroes decided to invade but soldiers with tech 1000s of years ahead just doesn't mix well with everything else. That and multiverse has been done so many times I groaned when they mentioned it.

Vamp me up!

I think I need a bit more schooling.
Sign me up for the academy.
Holy crap! This is some fun stuff.
Barrett gets turned and taken to vampire college by his gorgeous boyhood crush. Not only does he get to be with her in the "housing," but also a couple more hot girls.
All while learning new amazing powers.
I'm giving this book 8.5 out of 5 stars.

Comedy Central

The story is absolutely fantastic. The characters are well fleshed out, and there has not been a single chapter that hasn't had me rolling in laughter. The VA are wonderful with their inflections and accents! I will listen to this over and over again and love it every time. 10/10

Very fun!

I beta read this book way back in the day, for book one. Life got in the way and I have not been able to return to beta read for Virgil, but when i saw this come up as an Omnibus, this was a VERY easy decision.

I had forgotten how fun the first book was, but I quite enjoyed it again with the half-familiar story. Both of the audio narrators did a great job.

If you are expecting a ton of gore or evil acts, this is not the book. If you want a nearly cozy experience, with all kinds of different Vampires, this IS the book for you. I loved the thought that was put into the story backline and why the school was even kicked off to start. Amazing work as always Virgil!

(note, the bonus novel was fantastic as well)

not to bad

if you want a quick read this is good, it felt a bit rushed closing out some of the character side conversations and concerns, but it was not bad. they could have stretched this out a lot, hit ending at 3 seems a slgood move.

Terrible

Terrible. Horrible voice actors and just a bad story. Complete waist of time and money

Regret buying.

Here is why. Boy surrounded by beautiful ladies that really want to get spicy and one he has been in love with since childhood. He gets really mean and verbally abusive to her when she makes sexual advances and would rather study at a school to be number one at that he didn’t even know was a thing a little while ago. He starts out likable then gets power goes bad. He stands up for the girls in public but treats them poorly behind closed doors. Had to just stop it book after he totally embarrassed the one he loves after making a joke about getting his pants cleaned and wanting to get back to the books after his gf rides his leg to get off. Maybe the book gets better but I will never know because that scene destroyed the book and my view of the mc. I swear the MC cares more about why vampires breathe when they don’t have to than the girl he is supposed to be in love with. I have noticed with a lot of harem books that come as a package suck. Not all but a whole lot of them.

illogical MC

Ignored his dying mother's pleading, then denies having sex with the girl he supposedly love over and over despite having sex with random slaves he just met.

His decision process makes zero sense and we are offered no reason behind the illogical decisions he makes.

If you ignore this, the story is actually decent, just hard not to carry a frowning face while reading some of the more illogical scenarios.
