About this listen

Aiden Samuels is the most mysterious and sexy man I’ve ever met - and he’s my new boss.

He’s given me a second chance and now it’s up to me not to blow it. No matter how much I may want to trust him with my secrets, I can’t afford to let him in.

He can’t discover the truth. No matter what the cost. Chloe Mattson is the most disarming and intriguing woman I’ve ever met - and she’s my new assistant.

She’s brought light into my dark life, but she’s much too innocent for me. I need discipline and control to keep her at arms-length, but I can’t resist helping her, even when she insists she doesn’t need it. No matter how much I desire her, Chloe is off-limits.

Growing closer may prove complicated. Staying away may prove impossible.

Full-length stand-alone book with no cliffhanger. Second book of the Miss Series.

Please note: Miss Typed is for mature audiences due to steamy bedroom scenes that are in no way contained to just the bedroom.

Loved everything about this one

I loved this book and I was worried about listening to it as the narrators are fairly new to me but I shouldn’t have worried because Ariel Royce and Christopher Rourke did a wonderful job with the narration.

Miss Typed is book 2 in the Miss Series and I loved this entertaining read as much If not more than book 1. I fell big time for the intense, broody Aiden Samuels and I loved that Chloe Mattson gave him a run for his money by being the total opposite, she is a character who takes everything in her stride.
This is a well written love story that’s heartwarming and entertaining. It was a romance that touched me on so many levels, this couple have so many obstacles to cross before they find their true HEA, there are secrets and trust issues that need to be addressed and Aiden needs to overcome the fear of believing he will never being good enough for any woman if he is ever going to find love.
The chemistry is sizzling and the characters adorable but it was the emotions mixed with just the right amount of humour that made this a great read for me. I was captivated by this couples journey and I enjoyed the audible as much as the Ebook.

Perfection!

I read this book when it was first released so I was super excited to listen to it. Ariel Royce and Christopher Rourke totally brought these characters to life! I was sucked in from the very beginning all over again! Chloe is constantly tripping over her words when she gets nervous and says the craziest of things... and Ariel does a FANTASTIC job with that, I can not even imagine how difficult it must have been to miss-speak some of the things that Chloe does but it was a total joy to listen to. And Christopher was super intense through this story, which was PERFECT for Aiden! Chloe and Aiden really do seem like 2 people that would not have gotten together.... but they work so well! And the GRAND GESTURE was one of the best I have read/heard in a long time! Such a great story and some wonderful narrators to bring it to life! I can not wait to get to the other books in this series!

Entertaining

This is the second book in her latest series and was just as entertaining as the first one.

Aiden Samuels, I fell for him so hard, there really is something about a hot, intense, broody man that really draws me to him. Also as a veteran with special needs he intrigued me. Chloe Mattson, on the other hand, is laid back and takes most things in stride. He is determined to ignore the attraction that sizzles between him and his assistant and yet despite himself he finds it increasingly difficult.

The chemistry between Aiden and Chloe is intense right from the start and it only increased as the story progressed. I really was cheering for these two to get their happily ever after. However can two people brought up so differently have anything in common?

There was so much for Aiden to overcome and yet he did and that glimpse of determination to adapt to his new life certainly shone through. I loved how Chloe was able to look beneath the surface to the vulnerable man beneath and I think I fell for her almost as much as Aiden did.

Miss Typed was a great read. There were moments of humour that brought a smile to my face and yet there was some drama sprinkled throughout the story which made the story entertaining. This is a well written, heart warming love story which was had me captivated from the first to the last page.

The narration by Ariel Royce and Christopher Rourke was spot on and certainly did justice to Chloe and Aiden’s characters. Their voices were easy to list to and added to my listening pleasure.

Good read.

At first, I thought it was going to be boring. The setting of Americans living in the Middle East didn't appeal. It got better with a few funny moments. The narration was good. Although the accents provide for some characters that I thought might have been Arabic come out listening Scottish or Irish but their ethnicity was never told. It was a good read.

Enjoyable

This was the first book I have listened to by this author as well as the narrators. It was enjoyable and the story was captivating. Aiden is a lost soul who has been forced into a job he doesn't want and a life he wants to get back to, but due to a new disability things are not going his way. Chloe is trying to do the right thing for her family and working two jobs to send money home to help get them out of a debt she didn't cause. She is caring and loving and wants what's best for them and those she cares about. Aiden is a no nonsense guy who doesn't like small talk or anyone knowing his business that is until he meets Chole there is something about her that pulls him in. The struggles both these characters have are real life struggles and you can relate to what they are going through. That alone makes it a wonderful story. I was captivated all the way through.
