Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. Gabriel Ferrara is tall and handsome, and most days she wants to stab her eyes out with a pencil, anything to stop her seeing his perfection. How any female could work in these conditions and not be completely besotted with him is beyond her. Then he opens his mouth and she remembers why. He's bossy and sarcastic, with a wit so sharp it could cut glass. Every weekend is the same . . . while he's off living his dream life, she's counting down the days until Monday when she sees him again.

Enemies to Friends
This was a fun book. Jake and Hannah literally run into each other and begin a rocky relationship. She is a reporter determined to find out all there is to know about him and he is determined to keep his past a secret. The bits of humor are enjoyable and the story kept me listening later than I should have. :-) I can always highly recommend the Reclusive Man Books.
The narration is quite acceptable.

Finding the Truth
Listening to Hannah’s Discovery was very pleasing to the ear. I always like to listen to this narrator. Jake has become a recluse since moving to town. He is a pecan farmer, but no one has gotten to know him. He comes to town, does his business, then leaves. Hannah is a nosey reporter and wants to find out more about Jake. There is a reason why Jake doesn’t get close to anyone and Hannah wants to know. So she starts to investigate, but it could backfire on her. Wonderful characters and a good storyline.
I was given a copy of the book by the author for a honest review.
