Story
Long distance running is much like any other fitness training. If you want to improve, you need a good plan that has a progressive nature. If you are new to this game, you need a solid foundation to build on. Having a running program is not the only thing that you need. Sound advice and running tips should be taken from someone who has "walked the walk", or in this case, "ran the run".

Highly recommended for the confidence, consistency and motivation
Running with Katie kept me moving the whole time. It was the perfect program to keep me on track. I went from feeling relieved and glad that I just kept moving and no longer stopped during the first runs to looking forward to the next and trusting that each time I showed up I would finish.
By week 6, I noticed my pace improving and my confidence and joy of running was high. She reminds you to be reflective and grateful for all you have done and how much more you’re capable of.
Definitely recommend for those who are getting started for first time or again after taking time off and building back up your confidence or just need to be committed to something and building consistency and endurance. Set a goal and get moving. You’ll make gains through out.
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

Wonderful
I could not stop listening. Perfect narration and a captivating story. Lara’s story is worth the listen.

Good Routine
I don’t care much for the music, but the tips aren’t bad. The best part is having a guided training regiment though. If I found a better one I’d switch for sure.

Great running program!
I have used this and Part 2 to keep me running. I run on a treadmill which helps control pace without dealing with terrain. I have done both Part 1 and Part 2 more than a couple of times. Sometimes I switch up the weeks, sometimes I go in order. I run over 100 miles a month and this helps get those miles down. I do like the music, running tips, and inspirational stories which are great. I wish Coach Katie would do another series. She does a great job. I would like to see some longer runs (more than 90 mins) for those who can’t finish a half marathon in less than 2 hours, to help avoid possible injury on race day; but I have done a long run and then did another Easy Miles (or vice versa) back to back to extend the run time. I also have used my weighted vest on the recovery runs to help increase stamina and pace. Overall, a great run series with a great coach. Now go make another series!! Go train hard!

I wasn’t a runner before
I can’t speak up this audio training enough. It took me from zero to half. I feel confident in my runs and now having the tools and knowledge to be a good runner. Having a coach in your ear through training has been invaluable to my success. If you’re considering taking up a half marathon and not sure where to start.. this is the one. :)

Loved this. Listening for the second time .
I loved this program so much that now I am "running " through the training for the second time.
Even though I had just started running (couch to 5k at 52 yrs old) I was able to complete the course and run 13.1 miles at the end.
