No depth

I normally like to leave good reviews and can find positives in almost all stories. Ember might be good for teenagers. The story lacks complexity and the characters aren't very developed. Some phrases are used over and over instead of using a variety. If it wasn't for the fact that the story was so short, I probably wouldn't have even finished it.

Shelby Hues has a nice voice. Her voice is soothing but lacks depth of emotion. She has moments where she is monotone and sometimes stilted.

I can't recommend this story and I won't be listening to anymore of the series.
