About this listen

Life had gotten both better and more chaotic for Doc—he’d already been happy with Fiala and Sonya as his wives, but then Ayla and Lia joined his family. To top it off, he collared the willing dryad, Rosa. With five wives at his side, Doc had a full house of love.

He was still in the town of Deep Gulch, needing to achieve the mission Luck had given him. When Sheriff Grange killed Mayor Goodman, it removed the least of Doc’s troubles while showing that Grange was clearly a problem. Even with the Mayor out of the way, there was still plenty to take care of.

The first annual poker tournament at the Lily was coming up. The cardsharp, Mr. Suez, was one of Doc’s biggest roadblocks to freeing the town. He had a plan for him, but it would be a gamble...luckily, his patron goddess was Lady Luck.

Even if he dealt with Suez, Doc would have to handle Grange as well. The sheriff wanted him gone so he could move on Lia. On top of that, the Church of Apoc was still a threat. In Deep Gulch, that meant Adam McIan, Preacher of Apoc, would have to be removed. Doc had managed to lie to and placate the preacher, but he knew it would come to a head soon.

With all the troubles building, a dangerous gamble would have to be made. Doc knew he had allies of his own—some of the townsfolk; the Oresmelter clan in town; and, of course, his lovely and talented wives. Trusting in his goddess, Doc embarked on his plan to rid Deep Gulch of the Darkness.

Wow

An MC who most people can associate with, except perhaps for skill with a piano. What he has in his corner is (well, choosing to be hung like a side of beef) and to be lucky. Stan Lee's own preferred superpower at work, with an incredible voice actress to bring it to life

I look forward to more from this series. I also love that Ms.Parsneau has made Bloopers a thing.

Thank you.

I am an audiobook nerd (sorry not sorry) . I've listened to almost everything available from this author. Needless to say, I'm a big fan.
This genre might not be for everybody, but I don't care.
If you're a fan of the genre, I highly recommend this series and everything else in his library. You won't be disappointed , but if you are disappointed, nothing you say here will change the minds of true fans. That's right, your opinion doesn't matter. you can type to your heart's content about how much this book blah blah blah blah blah, something something, and further more yadda yadda. You clearly need a better hobby or maybe you should leave your house and experience life IRL ( just saying).

About the Narrator: I think I love ish you 😋.
She is an impressive voice actor who never disappoints. Occasionally there are some mispronunciations that squeak through, but that is just part of her charm.
Example:
The Bloopers .
THANK YOU VERY MUCH for including your outtakes (In this , and the other books in which you have helped breath life into) They are absolute gold !!!
I don't laugh easily, I have issues (yadda blah whatever) , but your bloopers have often made me laugh out loud when I'm all by myself. (trust me, that is an accomplishment)
Reminds me of 80's Cinema. As a very small child, I saw "Cannonball Run" in the theater three times. The first time was because the adults in my life wanted to see it, the other two times was because they wanted to watch the bloopers again and again. I noticed that many of "the adults" stayed to watch the mistakes, and that even though the film was a comedy, more laughing ( to the point of tears) was brought forth from the accidents shared at the end.
Even professionals make mistakes, but a true artist isn't afraid to share them with the world.
and again,
THAN YOU for fu©k¡ng 🆙🤗😘

Excellent

I loved the book and I love the audiobook, Andrea Parsneau is a Marvel! A great conclusion to a major story arch I hope this is not the end! There is certainly a lot of world left to save. But great story progression and great character growth with a very satisfying ending to this story arch. The narration is excellent as always with Andrea, she makes me want to meet all of the characters she gives them such life. Marvelous production!

this was a great addition to the series. now then everyone needs to listen to the bloopers because their is a reference to Binding words series in there but no it is not part of the actual story just funny, oh and overlord Posie for the win.
