Story
Dieting is really quite a hassle for women, especially those who are busy juggling work and family to focus on losing weight. This is because most diet routines out there rely on counting the calories that you eat and it’s quite a hassle to log and count every single food you eat just so you can be sure that you are not eating beyond your calorie limit. With this type of dieting, most women end up quitting because they just couldn’t commit to too much fuss. This is where intermittent fasting comes in.

Short and Informative
While making a weekly meal plan and grocery list may seem like an easy task, for me it is overwhelming and anxiety inducing.
Estelle Rose to the rescue! This book contains information to guide food selection based on a whole foods approach presented in a concise and easily understood manner, and contains weekly menus and the printable organizational tools I need to get my week off to a good start.
I honestly have a long way to go in improving my nutrition, but the tools in this book give me confidence and a framework for making changes. I know I will be referring to the advice in this book frequently as I work to make positive changes.
Brain Boosting Food for Women with ADHD is the perfect companion to Empowered Women with ADHD, also by Estelle Rose. Both are available on Kindle Unlimited.
The performance by Morgan Scott was so well done! Pleasant to listen to, had perfect pacing, and was like listening to a friend share her thoughts and experiences.
Thank you to the author for gifting me an Audible copy. I am sharing my honest review voluntarily.

Loved the recs
I don’t usually read these type of books but considering I already read Empowered Women with ADHD I figured give this a go since I’m trying to manage my ADHD. Just as the book mentioned this book was very educational. I really appreciated the meal planner Estelle integrated. If you haven’t read this yet, I definitely recommend.

A Journey to a happier and healthier you
I must start this review with a confession: I am, without a doubt, the "Curious George" of readers. It all began with Estelle Rose's "Empowered Women with ADHD," a book that quite literally changed my life. Little did I know that this remarkable author had another treasure hidden up her sleeve, "Brain Boosting Foods for Women with ADHD." And so, driven by my insatiable curiosity, I delved into this culinary adventure.
What a delightful journey it was! Rose's book is a perfect blend of insight and wit. It's like having a witty and wise friend guiding you through the labyrinth of nutrition and ADHD. This book, as it turns out, held the key to unraveling many of the health and gut mysteries that have plagued me for as long as I can remember.
The revelation that individuals with ADHD, including yours truly, often wrestle with certain food intolerances, such as gluten intolerance, was eye-opening. It's remarkable how specific foods can impact not only our physical well-being but also how our minds function. Rose's exploration of this intricate relationship is nothing short of fascinating.
This book doesn't just leave you with questions; it offers solutions. Rose introduces the concept of mindful eating, and I must admit, I've been guilty of hasty, mindless shovelling of food myself. But this book's wisdom encouraged me to slow down, savour every bite, and in the process, put an end to the cycle of overeating.
The most telling testament to the book's effectiveness is how I feel when I occasionally "fall off the bandwagon" (as we all do). The contrast is striking, and it reaffirms the positive impact of the changes I've made.
In closing, I would wholeheartedly recommend "Brain Boosting Foods for Women with ADHD" to anyone, ADHD diagnosis or not. It's a captivating blend of scientific knowledge, practical advice, and a touch of wit. If you're ready to embark on a journey towards better health and a happier relationship with food, this book is your compass.

A wonderful resource
Several months ago I had the opportunity to read Estelle Rose's Empowered Women with ADHD, and while I don't have ADHD, it was an extremely insightful read and still resonated with me on several levels.
This is actually the book prior to that and it's just as interesting. As someone who TRIES to plan out meals for myself and my children, I sometimes get lost in the day to day and it doesn't go as planned. We all know how it makes us feel when we fall of the wagon and eat poorly. It not only affects our bodies but our minds.
It has such great insight as to how food intolerances can impact us. But it also has solutions we can easily apply each day. It's a whole foods approach with weekly menus and recipes (easy for even the most cooking-challenged) to help along the way. With a mix of science and wit, it's a quick but engaging read. I have a lot of things to change in my nutrition journey, but this is a wonderful resource I can look back upon.
