Excellent Book - Even Better Audiobook

Read Selective Apathy when it was released in 2020 & loved it - put my life-long philosophy into words in a way I am incapable of.
Hearing it narrated by the author enhanced the experience on this second go-round, like sitting across the table from an old friend.
Highly recommended!

A Constructive, Worthwhile Read

BETTER LIVING THROUGH SELECTIVE APATHY is a refreshing approach to the self-help genre. Author, M C Alexander, provides a treasure trove of facts, advice, analogies and anecdotes peppered with humor and a ration of colorful language. A constructive, worthwhile read.

Very well written and very well spoken!

I found this topic very intriguing and after listening to this it makes sense. Living life by choosing what you put your care and emotion into is incredibly important. This book covers this in a way that is understandable and spoken in a way that makes you want to listen!

A book to make you think, and reflect on your own life.

M.C. Alexander has a genuinely interesting, and thoughtful approach to selective apathy, and has truly made myself reflect on how I can use the ideas discussed in my own life. Learning to identify decisions we make based on emotion, rather than logic and objectivity, are things that we as human beings should reflect upon and try to balance out. This book delivers insight through a well woven structure, and creates interest and enthusiasm for myself. I am one to absorb information better while I listen, rather than just read text. The voice provided by Mike Chadwick allowed me to critically think as I listened to each thought that was presented to me, and acknowledge my own stances and thoughts as the book progressed. I highly recommend for anyone trying to find a well written and thoughtful piece on trying to better oneself.
