Publisher's summary

Changing your health and eating habits to restore and maintain your health can be challenging. But compared to surgery or extensive drug regimens with debilitating side effects, the effort is decidedly worth it.

Here to make things a bit easier, Dr. Sunil Pai presents a 10-step guide to help you prevent and treat disease through diet and lifestyle changes, as well as through the use of natural anti-inflammatories. With extensive information on the production of food, pharmaceuticals, and dietary supplements, this remarkable resource pulls back the veil on what’s "really" in the foods and products you consume daily - and how they’re affecting your health.

All too often, conventional health care simply manages diseases rather than actually resolving them. By understanding that inflammation is the underlying trigger mechanism to all ailments, you can learn to prevent, reverse, and treat most chronic illnesses - including cancer - by applying integrative medicine’s natural, evidence-based solutions.

Informative, educational, and enlightening, this book will help you understand the truth and motivate you to start taking back your health!

In this ultimate 10-step guide and remarkable resource, you will learn:

  • Why inflammation is the common link to all diseases, including cancer
  • The life-extending benefits of an anti-inflammatory diet
  • How to reduce inflammation (and stress) naturally and effectively
  • The life-threatening "black box" dangers of NSAIDs
  • How hidden food sensitivities can torpedo even the healthiest diet
  • How to strengthen your immune system with a healthy gut microbiome
  • How to tell the difference between high quality and dangerous supplements

very disappointed. book started out ok with good information. nothing growing breaking. but quickly advanced to the only solution to inflammation is to buy his services and product's. the maturity of book is a sales pitch of several dozen products he sells. I have over 60 titles in my audio library and none have been this disappointing. will m5e returning it.

Sales Job

The book does have some good information in it.
But basically it is selling you products.

Too much advertisements

Although I did learn a lot about alternative treatments I learned about them through commercialized statements

Try the Bosmeric!

For me personally, I tried Bosmeric before I read the book and was intrigued by all the data on it's mechanisms of effectiveness. The book doesn't disappoint. After trying the product on the strength of face to face testimonials and seeing the doctor interact with patients I decided to try it. Not to mention shipping it to all 50 states in my time at his practice. Cost may be at the core of some negative feedback, but the Bosmeric is legit and manufacturing of which, is monitored by the good Doc himself.

Selling & infomercial

This was horrible book to say the least. To listen to this book was like really! I felt I’ve been tortured by the author to listen to all his infomercial and advertisement of the few items and herbal supplements and etc. whatever that he is actually invested in and he makes money out of this. It would’ve been much much better if the book title or the name of the book laws infomercial about the best supplements in the world in my opinion I mean by my opinion the opinion of the author.

Awful

Having a been on a whole food plant based diet for a few years I was very interested in Dr. Pai's book, I had watched him on YouTube his lecture on his book and on Chef AJ"s channel. The reviews were not stellar, but I took a chance. Dr. Pai references T.Collin Campbell, Dr. Greger, and others as well as a plant based diet,, but then goes on to lawd over fish oil. He keeps going back to selling things he sells, supplements, water treatment, etc. and uses poorly referenced examples of how his treatments cured some poor individual. His failure to produce any scientific corroboration of his methods leaves me feeling duped for buying this book. Inflammation is real, of course, but show some scientific proof of what your saying, not an N of one.
Fish oil is not plant based, and his quote research of supplements, is not a stamp of approve that I or anyone else should blindly accept because the initials MD follow his name.
Do not bother reading this book.
respectfully submitted, Nigel Wilkinson.

Mostly just trying to sell products

This book was pretty disappointing. The author spends more than half of the book trying to sell his products. There are very few scientific claims that are properly referenced to quality peer reviewed studies. Some claims have been debunked and he’s still repeating them as fact. I’ll be returning this book.
