amazing

This book is very underratedid yes. Some people may have a problem with some of the content in there. Those who can't usually distinguish between fictional writing and reality usually have a hard time with subjects that deal with. Stuff that they don't like however all that being said. This is a wonderful serit does have a light amount. Mature scenes but don't let that take you away from the amazing story that progresses through the series all those who stick around for that Won't be disappointed.

Great Action in This One

This was a very exciting and action-packed Installment. A lot of questions get answered in this one and the plot expands in scope nicely. I think this one was probably my favorite so far, and the Golden Queen is an amazing character I'm sure you will admire.

Re:Review, not as bad of a listen the second time

Firsr time reading this, I found it frustrating, but I really hyper focus on two aspect. One was the human group and space just being training and exposition.

Honestly the human side of the story takes littke of the story and Kami is mostly in it which helps. Plus Roland team are the weakest part of the story but not as bad as I remember.

Sure space is used for training and exposition, but it was engaging exposition.

The rest is a fun chaotic journey that is leading to something more. In many way it is exciting, and does a decent imitation of Empire Strike Back. Not everything is great, but enough entertainment to keep sticking with the series.

Bamboozled

I have started this serie of books with first one as v reference to easygoing, fun, airheaded story. And now each book goes darker and darker... Not what I have expected, but now I need to see the end.

Good stuff

Another amazing performance by Katana!
I was captivated by where the story went. Not a twist ending but very surprising and sad how it ends.

Too much of the Others

I have enjoyed this series so far. It has been fun and very interesting. In fact the concept is very intriguing to me. However If this is how the next book will be I will probably not finish it. Not because the story has suffered, though later I will go into some grievances I have with the story. The main Problem is that about 75% of the story is taken away from the main character. Sure I don't mind having chapters with multiple perspectives, in fact if done right adds a layer of depth that can be very impactful. However When you are on book 4 of 6 and they suddenly start trying to divide the story between all the characters it just becomes frustrating. I mean I got this far because I liked the MC and was enjoying her tale. Then all of the sudden Rolland is taking a much more important roll than Chaos is. I know in the past they had several chapters where the Mc isn't the main point of interest, however this book takes it to the extreme. Also it started irking me in the last book. This time is is really making me frustrated. By the end of the book I started to get more bored than anything. All I could think was "Where is Chloe?" "Why isn't this in her perspective?" "How comes it only feels like 25% of this book is focused on our MC?" When I am having thoughts like that instead of the actual points of the story it just ended up boring me. (Spoiler warning!!!!) Another problem is the Academy portion of this. I mean Chloe had the counter spell and only used it like once. Also her being sent up to space to learn could have been interesting. However only a few chapters focus on her time their since the book focused on Asoko and Rolland more than Chloe, and that ruined the entire book for me. Like I said I am here for Chloe's story. I couldn't give less of a crap to Rolland and his misguided fragile way of looking at things. His bland personality and his pathetic views that change on a fricking dime. Nor do I care how Asoko is eyeing the maids and which one to take to bed. I want to know about Chloe and her adventures. However I will not be finishing this series it has angered me enough. Nothing gets down in it. Nothing is achieved and if it takes all six books for that even a moment of satisfaction then I do not care enough to actually continue this dreadful act. The first few books were great. The 3rd book was fine. However by the fourth you shoukd be done with this roundabout nonsense that happen and the unceremonial way it all occurs. This book literally just ruins all that this story had going for it. So I will not continue wasting my time on this series.
