Fun and swoony Christmas novella

I enjoyed this opposites attract, city girl-country boy, fated mates shifter romance with a side of mystery and hilarious Christmas pageant. The story has a good mix of sweet, spicy, hilarity, and real life issues. Turner, a moose shifter, is the high school vice principal and the fire chief in small town Green Valley. Linda has come to Green Valley for a short visit hoping to surprise her daughter and her boyfriend with a Cancun vacation but things do not turn out how she envisioned. Turner immediately recognizes Linda as his mate when he arrives to rescue her from a large dog and now he just has to woo her. Of course, nothing is as simple as they would hope. Despite being short, the novella was well written, the characters had depth and the storyline was engaging.

Lee Samuels and Vanessa Edwin did a wonderful job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly.

More please

I hope that the epilogue is telling us that there will be more stories in this line. Something in the water, indeed.
