Publisher's summary

Margot Lane thought she had an exciting life-plenty of fans, lots of money, and even her dream role on a hit TV show. But when she busts out of the most expensive and exclusive celebrity fat camp on the east coast, things really get interesting.

Pursued by personal trainers, Margot takes an opportunity to duck out of sight. But she realizes she may have gone from the frying pan into the fire when she finds out that she's "hiding" on the set of the hot new reality show that's captured the imagination of the entire planet.

And it doesn't help that the star of the show is the most achingly gorgeous man she's ever seen.

Kent and his brothers have traveled from planet Aerie to Earth to take human females as mates and pleasure them into unbreakable interplanetary relations. As part of the project, Kent agrees to star on a reality show, meant to let humans see how relatable aliens are. When he meets a mysterious young woman, he begins to understand the pent-up cravings and desperate demands of his new human body.

Can Margot keep her identity under wraps when the cameras are on? Or will Kent help her do everything she thinks she can't?

Contains mature themes.

fun read

I am so glad I decided to try it. I just purchased the other 2. it's not to serious but it does break down the "you need to be skinny to get anywhere in life" attitude.

Fun quick listen

Great positive message about body image. FMC is sweet, caring, nurturing but love it when she finally has had it and let’s her feisty side out. MMC is sweet almost to the point of being a push over until he gets riled up then woohoo. They are good together. Worth the listen. Onto book 2.

Charming

I’m not a fan of reality shows, but this was a great backdrop to work in meet-cutes and coincidences. This story stands alone, however each of three gals and and three alien brothers get introduced here, so the next two novellas should be heard in order. The two scenes were descriptive but also fairly quick, making this book feel almost cozy. It’s refreshing to emphasize a fun alien story with earnest aliens instead of the usual alpha aliens.

I loved the body positivity, even if we’re only talking 25lbs over what Hollywood considers ideal weight.
I also loved the way the gals support each other and the alien brothers support each other. And, I was kind of tickled that these aliens were put into human bodies and given names like Kent.

Great Story

Loved this book. It was surprisingly easy to read as a standalone even though it is part of a series. I liked that the hero had a limited grasp of human culture, but did not come off as stupid.
I'm looking forward to the next book.
I hope it is also done by Mason Lloyd, he is a truly talented artist.

Not great

It was very surfacy. Kind of boring too. But overall it wasn’t terrible. I’m not sure if it was worth my time.

Trite Storyline

This is one of the dumbest stories I have ever read. I like fantasy as much as the next person, but this was a story line a third grader could have written.
