When aliens arrive, they expect a warm welcome...

Posey Quinn has always believed there was more to the world than what she could see. So when she arrives in Stargazer with her head full of conspiracies and high-end hairspray, she isn't entirely surprised to learn that instead of donating eggs for tuition money, she is being asked to make an alien fall in love with her and become an ambassador for humankind. What she doesn't expect is how irresistible Bond is, and how hard it will be not to lose her own heart to the man who plays her body like a violin.

Bond is on Earth to fill one human female with as much pleasure as she can bear, a mission he's finding very agreeable. But he's not here to fall in love. Tasked with using his powers of human seduction to glean what he can about Earth and its inhabitants, Bond knows that if the planet's resources are worthy and its residents aren't, his days of pleasing Posey will soon be at an end.

Bond, just Bond

Yum, the first in a series of hot men that are looking for their mates. We are introduced to all the men and ladies that will be in the first three books. However this is Bond and Posey's story. Bond is so refreshingly honest with his questions on behavior. Posey goes through all the ups and downs that a woman would in this situation. The town that is built around the story, the names for everything and the people we meet were a joy to hear.

There was a fun nod to Tarker's Hollow, other books from Tasha Black. I did have a little stumble in listening to the beginning as I didn't realize that it was an opening scene. Reading this might have made it a little clearer. Bond was a quick listen with Mason Lloyd narrating with his reverberating tones. He happens to be one of my go to narrators for this type of story.

almost innocent and sexy

dang I thought Tasha Black's other books were captivating but this new series in above and beyond! I love that the aliens learned our culture through older shows so have a gentleman attitude but are clearly large and in charge. they're trying to learn what it means to be human and being sexy as hell doing it. yes there is adult content most is at the end but there is some here and there too.

Alien takes a wife.

Three college roomies and BFFs decide to do something for mankind, and their mounting college debt.
Only when they arrive in Stargazer, Pa., hometown to one, they learn that donating eggs isn't all, they are to be brides to the Aliens and represent Earth. Not going to happen as far a Posey is concerned. She takes care of herself and works hard to pay for school, she'd never miss a few eggs in exchange for making a financial dent in her bill, but an alien husband? No, not so fine. Well, Bond is fine, but that doesn't mean she wants to have his kids and be his wife.

They guys are on a mission and their eighties view of Earth living is a hoot. Are the women and men up to the challenges from the town? They sure are up for the women, but marriage? You will love this one and the humor, undertones of more than meets the human eye, but what? The guys and gals are all more than they seem. Once again the author has given us fun, incorporated her Tarker's Hallow in the story. Enjoy. I sure did, and can't wait for more.
Mason Lloyd is one of my favorite narrators. When he says Bond, to start some chapters it reminds me of "Bond. James Bond. It earns a smile every time.

First in a Series, Loved It!

This is the first book in a new series by one of my favourite authors. It is really well written and performed beautifully by Mason Lloyd also one of my favourite narrators. The storyline is really good it's based on the premis that aliens have come to earth after being "invited" in the 80's and all their knowledge is based on films from that time. The aliens have chosen their names from film heros. Bond the lead in this story is a wounderful character as is Posy. The story takes place now.

Posy thought all she was going to do was donate eggs so that someone could have a child and she would be paid for them which would alleviate her student loan debts. She and her two best friends are chosen for this scheme but they find that there is a twist. The twist is what makes this story so good.

I don't like to give spoilers so I don't want to say too much more but this story is very good and well worth listening to. I really enjoyed it and I hope to listen to the rest of the series soon.

Do give it a try if you like this genre, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Man of every woman's dreams

Bond is every woman's dream guy! He is sweet and kind, eager to please, and looking for a long term commitment. Posey is very relatable as a character and Tasha Black does a great job at writing the inner struggle that Posey is facing. I can't wait to find out if Posey will be able to carry Bond's child and what happens between the other two couples. There is a secret as to why the aliens have come to earth and I eagerly await the unveiling!

Entertaining, sexy and hilarious!

This was my first Tasha Black's book and won't be the last. This is the first book in the Stargazer Alien Mail Order Brides Series. This Sci-Fi Romance story is really well written and well developed despite the fact that this story is short. In fact, it's so much more than what I've expected! It's a Gem! Along the story, we are following the main characters in their journey. Three smart heroines: Posey, Georgia and Rima. Three hot and sexy aliens: Bond, Rocky and Magnum. This story, mostly about Posey and Bond, has it all: Action-packed, fast-paced, sexy and Hilarious. The ending is so Romantic and Hot! I loved the opening to Georgia and Rocky's story. Now, I can't wait for the next book in the Series. The narrator has a great and sexy voice, easy to listen. I really enjoyed my listening and totally recommend this audiobook! If you like Sci-Fi Romance with sexy aliens, you'll love this one. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Great book I a funny series

Posey attended college at Tarker's hollow and signed up for a program to donate her eggs to help pay tuition but didn't get picked what she did get was 2 best friends, Rima and Georgia.
The letters did come for her and her friends to come to Stargazer Pennsylvania and a hotel named Ground control to become egg donors.
When they get their everything is NOT what the girls thought. What was there were 3 aliens and they were not interested in their eggs. They wanted them. Soon Bond picked Posey.

Loved the characters on this there all so different, it was a great storyline. Easy going and smooth but there was a hint that something else might be going on besides 3 aliens finding mates. SyFy-tastic syfy fans this was a great read.
