Publisher's summary
Healing is not a one-time event.
It can begin with a one-time event - typically some form of sudden loss that disrupts our projection of what the future might be. However, the true work of healing is allowing that disruption to wake us from a deep state of unconsciousness, to release the personas we adapted into, and begin consciously piecing together the full truth of who we were meant to be.
In her follow-up collection to the international bestseller 101 Essays That Will Change The Way You Think, Brianna Wiest shares 45+ new pieces that will help you find your inner sanctum and embark on the path of true transformation. Wiest's words are a balm for any soul on the journey of their own becoming.

The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Self loving and understanding approach with great reality check.
I appreciated how Brianna takes readers through examination of their expectations, assumptions and reasons why we are disappointed. The author says stay true to your emotions and pain but keep examining the reasons you are experiencing them to find the right path. I’ve found the advice to build a strength inside rather than rely on external, very helpful.

it's OK to just "be" and positive growth will from just being in that moment in time.
This book allowed me to understand that positive growth, healing, and moving on can make great strides in moments of quiet and quiet reflection. All that happens to us in this lifetime are life's lessons which may allow ourselves to evolve into better versions of ourselves; both from perceived negative events and positive ones. It provides guided and well explained steps to help each of us move on, when we are ready.

Pure joy
This audiobook found its way to me at the most opportune time. Golden nuggets of wisdom gently guided me through major anxiety and back to safety. A must read / listen.
