About this listen

I didn't know she was my student the first time I paid to watch her at Voyeur.

Once she walked into my classroom, another smiling college freshman, I knew I should stop going. Stop watching.

But I couldn't do it. Everything about her makes me want more, and once I realize she wants me too, the temptation becomes irresistible.

The worst part is that she has no idea her professor is the one watching behind the glass.

I just have to hope that once she finds out the truth, she wants the same thing I do. Because now that I've seen all of her, I can't look away.

Way more than just a taboo romance

This book is written in a dual, 1st person, POV (Oaklyn and Callum) and does have a HEA. It is an age gap (10 years) and student/teacher (college student and professor) romance. But there is so much more to this story than that. Oaklyn begins working at a private club, Voyeur, to help pay for her second semester of college. Callum sees Oaklyn for the fist time at Voyeur and becomes infatuated. He later meets her in one of the classes he is teaching and eventually gets to know her because she is a student worker in his department. During Callum's chapters, the reader gets hints that he had suffered some kind of trauma in the past which has caused him to have difficulty forming romantic relationships, which is one of the reasons he initially became a member of Voyeur. Oaklyn and Callum eventually become friends which then turns into more. While the age difference and the student/teacher aspect are a source of anxiety, the majority of the story's conflict comes from Callum's difficulty accepting that Oaklyn is continuing to work at Voyeur and Callum's difficulty coping with his PTSD symptoms. I really enjoyed this book and think the author did a good job of portraying Callum's struggle and how he begins to heal. I was a little surprised by what had happened to Callum, but I think that gave this book more depth and emotion than I thought it would have. I really liked the narrators and think they did a good job of performing the book. However, I was a little disappointed in their attempts to voice some of the supporting characters in the book. At times, it was difficult to tell the difference between Oaklyn and Olivia when they exchanged dialogue and the supporting characters in Callum's chapters seemed to all have the same accent. It was a minor issue for me, because I enjoyed the narrators' overall performances of the MCs.

Good story from those who are themselves as broken

When I bought this book I was expecting a different form of Voyeurism. However, this was still a good story which honestly this should have been volume one in a series. it did wrap up nicely, but I would have liked a second to make it a series.
While reading the book which is my first romance novel in 24 years I saw many of the things I've done in relationships. This is a good book to see what it's like to be programmed by our past, friends with why we need to see that then. I feel in a second book the author would have gone in-depth in how to break them rather than glossing through them. If we look at them in-depth it would have been better as a storyline.
Reading this story I am left wondering how I would react if I were in that same situations or in my next relationship.

I loved this story

Voyeur was a steamy, emotional novel that had me hooked from start to end. These complex flawed characters had intense chemistry and were perfect for each other. The storyline was gripping and well written and i enjoyed it.
It was narrated by Yvonne Syn and Edward Thomas. They did a wonderful job with the characters and their voices blended well together i enjoyed this story and would highly recommend it.

Thoroughly enjoyed it

1st book by Fiona Cole, she did a great job writing this book. 1st time with these 2 narrators and they both did a great job as well. 💋❤️💋🖼Edward Thomas’s voice is just as sweet and sexy as the top 5.
I will be listening to this again 😜

Hot, steamy and sweet

Love this story that has a little bit of everything I like, student-professor romance, character grown, steamy sex and two characters strong enough to help each other and make their relationship works.

Not what I expected

There is certainly a trigger warning in this one... I was kind of surprised by the twist it took. I enjoyed the first half of the book more than the second because it was fun; the second half was much more serious and dealt with a very dark topic. It was a very good read.

The narration was ok EXCEPT when the male narrator tried to make other voices. That was absolutely terrible.

Amazing story!

I loved this one. The story was well written and I feel like the author took care of such sensitive subject matter. The characters were well developed, and while I really enjoyed the narration, I found myself unable to listen and not cringe when the male narrator (Edward Thomas) spoke as the other characters. He was AMAZING as Cal, but whenever he read as someone else, his voice went to a high, scratchy, almost mocking tone. It was very uncomfortable to listen to sometimes. But him reading as himself was perfect.

***spoilers ahead.. Fair warning, this one is not for you have triggers such as alcoholism, sexual abuse, rape, and incest.

Great character development

The premise was good, the characters evolved well, and the spice was ok, 2.5 out of 5. I understand why there wasn't more, but I like spicy🌶🌶
