In this book of key spiritual teachings from unpublished discourses, the great Advaita Master, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, teaches us that we are not limited to the body. Because of our mistaken body identity, we feel separate from what we truly are. Our identification with the body and mind subjects us to endless cycles of pleasure and pain, desire and fear, which cause us to search beyond ourselves for that which we believe we lack.

I felt tired, exhausted, and I wanted more in life. I heard and learned about meditation, but the concepts went over my head. The techniques were too unconventional for me, and none of these books gave any practical advice. Then I discovered the amazing world of practical meditation. With this book, you will get actionable instructions on how to make meditation apart of your life.

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

Another great listen
This is another great listen by author Richard L Haight however I really wish Richard would have Narrated the book himself. The chosen narrator did an excellent job but something else comes through when Richard narrates his own work that isn't there when he doesn't.
This book delves deep into personal transformation techniques that I don't imagine many westerners, especially Americans would be willing to follow through with long enough to reap the benefits of such practices.
If you're new to Richard's work I highly recommend his book The Unbound Soul as a starting point. You will not be disappointed.
