About this listen

A housekeeper with mad street smarts collides with a supernatural bodyguard who's been sent to protect her from an underground war that has raged for centuries.

Raven leads a solitary existence, and that's the way she likes it. But the life she knows turns upside down when her apartment gets gunned down and Cain Henson steps in. Cain's been sent by a Seer who believes Raven is a woman of prophecy that can control an ancient army no one can see.

Filled with romance, magic, and a kick-ass heroine, Unmemorable will lead you on a wild adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat and guessing until the last second.

* I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Raven has no friends, no family and lives in a rough neighborhood. She is a loner and works as a housekeeper where everyone ignores her. Raven is also cautious. She has been attacked in almost every city she has ever lived in. She never thought much of it since she has always lived in ghetto areas.

Cain Henson is rich and gorgeous. He is also a bodyguard. He has been sent to protect Raven from The Battalion. Cain's grandfather is a Seer and he believes that Raven has a very special gift. That is why Cain must protect her... whether she likes it or not.

The Battalion is a group who wants nothing less than world dominance. They kidnap or kill people who have powers. That is why Raven cannot understand why they are interested in a nobody like her. She doesn't believe she has any powers and she doesn't believe she is important at all.

What follows is a tale of magic, powers, good and evil, romance and suspense. This book is memorable.

A.P. Jensen has created an entirely new subset of people on the planet with very unique powers. It will be fascinating to discover what happens next in The Unmemorable series.

The narrator has the perfect voice for this story. She uses inflection and tone very well.
I rate the narration as 4 out of 5 stars.

I rate this book as 4 out of 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The story idea is good.

The narrator was monotone. This is a book better enjoyed by reading it your self I think. I would get more of this series IF the reader isn't the same as this book.

A new Paranormal Herione

What did you love best about Unmemorable?

Raven she is a strong no non sense kind of girl.

What did you like best about this story?

The love story between Raven and Cain. So hot!

Which scene was your favorite?

When Raven jumps out the window to save herself. Too funny!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes!

Any additional comments?

I feel in love with the main characters. This is the 1st book I've listened to by A.P. Jensen but I'm hooked. Now I'm one of her newest paranormal romance fans!

The author has created a new paranormal female heroine Raven. She is hard working maid until a man comes into her life that she is not so sure about. We the readers learn to trust her savior Cain as she does. I'm not a paranormal heroine but I felt like I could relate with the main character Raven. Raven comes across as a real life person just trying hard to get by. Finding it hard to trust new people in her life after feeling lonely and left out in this world. She is an unmemorable. One of her powers causes people to forget her once she is out of their line of sight. She is the only female unmemorable in the known world.

In the story line there are two paranormal sides. Both want Raven to help control the other. She finds both are not good or bad. Just not really on her side.
She falls for her savior Cain and finally has someone that wants her for her. He falls truly in love with her. Having a best friend, a lover and a love interest in her life is very new and scary for Raven. Someone who will protect her and take care of her. When all her life she has to fend for herself. It is easy to see that she is uncomfortable with being taken care of. I think most women would feel this way. It also makes her very easy to relate too. I really wanted to listen to this book non stop.

I think if someone was looking for new and different. A.P. Jensen has a book for you. LOL I know that I'm always looking for a new series to get into. So now I can't wait to read the next books in the series.

The narrator Roni Gallimore is great. She does the sassy voice perfect and you can see Raven rolling her eyes while your listening. She made her life like and funny!

Very memorable

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely, I think if they like stories with supernatural powers, a good built-up romance and enjoy the occasional fight they’d find this very entertaining.

What other book might you compare Unmemorable to and why?

The Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost has a similar feel to me. Both main females are very badass and they have a company that what’s them to join their group to help them develop there powers. They both also have family issues.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Cain‘s family test Raven‘s ability’s I was heartbroken for her. Raven is a strange person but I think anyone would feel lost and betrayed in that circumstance.

Any additional comments?

If the sequel becomes available in audio I will defiantly be getting it.

An interesting idea but the narrator was awful

The robotic narrator ruined it. The story might have been good, but I just could not get past her voice and the lack of inflection. She'd be better for non-fiction. There were a lot of holes in the plot, but I accept that when I read romance. This book had more than average, but I did like the idea of her power; not being able to remember her. Although come on...her entire life she never noticed that...never? Not in school when her teacher didn't remember her day after day? The kid sitting next her didn't know her? Even her foster parents or a social worker? Nothing gave it away huh? Highly unlikely!
Also, what's up with the photo on the cover? Who is that supposed to be? Why is he or she blue?

Monotone

The book is pretty good, but the narrator is so monotone and unfeeling, that even during high intensity moments she reads like she’s putting a toddler to nap. I recommend reading this one.

Great premise!!!

This is a really good premise, hooks you from the beginning. The writing could be a bit more crisp though, and the narration came across more as someone just blandly reading out loud than a performance. Note that there are currently only 2 books available, and it's unclear when the third will be published. I didn't know this when I started, but still glad I listened to the two books.

Unmemorable

If you could sum up Unmemorable in three words, what would they be?

This is a great audio book and a completely new and different type of paranormal. My interest was grabbed from the very beginning and I absolutely could not put it down. I had to just keep listening until I found out what happened. Looking forward to the next book in this series .

Unmemorable

Any additional comments?

Raven is a housekeeper in a hotel. She feels as if no one sees her.The fact is,they don't,because she is 'unmemorable'.This book is about Raven finding out who she is.It's a well written book. The characters are solid.I expect them to be even more fleshed out in the rest of the series.I found Roni Gallimore s narration to be good, but a bit too slow.A bit more emotion reflected in Ravens voice would be nice.

FABULOUS!!! COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!

If you could sum up Unmemorable in three words, what would they be?

AWESOME, MEMORABLE, GREAT!

What other book might you compare Unmemorable to and why?

I dont want to compare it...its just super great!

Which scene was your favorite?

I like the end, when Raven is found by Cain....

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It did make me laugh, because Raven is sassy!! And I felt bad for her when she is rejected by her own kind....

Any additional comments?

**I was given a free copy of this book by the author for an honest review**

I HONESTLY LOVED IT!!! Raven has lived all her life on the run basically without knowing it...Never any friends or family, people just disregard her..she get attacked all the time, and she thinks its just because she lives in unsavory areas...she has moved all over the country trying to find the right fit for her, and always ends up back in Las Vegas...On Thanksgiving she gets attacked once again and rescued by the sexy Cain...and all the pieces of her life start to fall in to place and she finally gets some answers as to why her life has been so empty and dangerous...there is a bit of a love story and some great fight scenes and all in all this is a fabulous start to a series I will definitely continue....I hope book 2 comes out on audible very soon!! 2 Thumbs up!!!!!
