My name’s Cassia. When my mother died and my father vanished, everything changed.

I planned to graduate high school and leave my dark past behind me, until I met two very different guys; bad boy Thames, and football captain Cairo.

Except there’s more to these two men than meets the eye. Without warning, I’m caught up in a dangerous love triangle, trapped in a world where angels and demons are fighting for the souls of mankind.

I’m being hunted by a monster straight out of the underworld, and I don’t know if I’ll survive long enough to taste forbidden fruit....

The storyline of this book is so intriguing that I couldn't wait to read/listen to it. I admit at times I wanted to shake Cassia and the boys and tell them to grow up already, and then I remembered that they are teens. It has enough mystery and intrigue to keep you turning the pages

Interesting story

The mystery surrounding Cassia and the two handsome guys in school kept me intrigued and listening to the audiobook. I enjoyed the supernatural elements and it was interesting to see how the author weaved it into the storyline. There was a trope that I’m not a fan of, but the author did a fabulous job taking care of the trope satisfying all parties. I’d recommend this book to someone who enjoys reading YA & UF. Looking forward to the next book.

I thought the narrator was okay. I listened to it at a 2x pace and I found it enjoyable. Good voice for a teenager.

Fantastic!

I loved this book! It grabs the listeners attention right from the start amd I definitely could see the Twilight and Mortal Instruments like influences on the storyline.

Pretty good

While I enjoyed the story there are a few areas where the narration seems I bit to childlike for me, but the narration as a whole is actually quite good. The story is set in the final year of high school for the main characters and I know that they aren't supposed to be full adults yet they felt younger than seniors in high school, but again I did enjoy the story and intend to follow the story. I do also wish there was a little bit better of a time-line because it seemed like the characters hardly knew each other tho they had been together for a year.

Book was good narration not so much!

I really enjoyed the story. I liked the characters and felt the book moved at a good pace. I had a really hard time with the narration. The guys voices were pretty awful honestly all the narration was not great but tolerable. It’s not the worst but not great when you have to listen for hours! I can’t wait to see what happens in book 2!!!

Welcome to Heaven

Cassia’s story in Heaven, MI was a good one of angels, demons, and high school. I really liked the characters and story. Love a good ending with a plot twist!

I like how Cassia is in foster care. She says how she just want to leave the past behind her. then as the story goes on you find out why she wants it behind her. And I love how her past was so bad but she can still see good in people. And she finds out who she is.

Just Wow!

Torrent by Megan Linski and narrated by Candace Joice is a great pairing. Ms. Linski's story is unique in its heroes and troubles. Ms. Joice has done a wonderful job with her talent and making sure that each character has its own voice.

Angels and Demons?

This was a story about foster kid, Casia, getting a new start in Heaven Michigan, while trying to out run her traumatic past. She is reserved, inquisitive, but loyal to a fault. She first meets Thames, the bad boy biker, that rarely goes to school and half the girls are crushing on. Then she meets Kyro, the sweet, angelic jock that everyone loves. You must listen to this audiobook to find out the surprising relationship the three has and the supernatural connection. This audiobook was really good and fun with some heavy issues that eventually get resolved. If you need a quick fix, this is the audiobook for you
