Amazing Grace

It’s always great to see how an author brings God’s amazing grace into the story. It was great to see how good triumphs over evil. Great story! Thank you!

Strong family & their faith

Wonderful story of faith and strength of family members. The acceptance of others is positive. How they survived the difficulties of the West & harsh life and encouraged others.

Love the Story, so I put up with the narrator...

I have listened to each book in the series so far (3) and I have promised myself each time that I would write a review. It took three books, but here goes - I love love love the story, but what is going on with the narrator?? This applies for every book so far!! The female voices are too similar and more often than not, the male voices sound too feminine.

The numerous pauses taken by the narrator are seldom for dramatic effect, and are irritatingly breathy or noisy. She also displays unnessary smacking of lips.

I'm really not being picky, the behaviors listed above are continuous throughout each book in the series, so far. I have listened to many audiobooks, at least 2-3 per week for years, and this narrator is bad! BUT the author is excellent!!

Love the Story

I love the story!!! The narration is the best but I enjoyed it so much that I pushed passed the narrator. Great story about history and the trials people lived through , love and God.

Great Story!

I love the faith and resilience, and the well-done story. I’m learning to tolerate and maybe the narrator, but I hate listening to her swallowing all the time! It is hard to listen to, sometimes worse than others.

Boring

I do not see how it can be rated any higher than 1 or 2 stars. It was so boring and repetitious that I had to take the ear phones off just to get away from the book. I finished it because I regreted spending my money on it. It is safe for kids.
