Publisher's summary

The inspirational number-one best seller by John P. Strelecky. Now translated into 36 languages and read by more than two million readers worldwide.

In a small cafe at a location so remote it sits in the middle of the middle of nowhere, John - a man in a hurry - is at a crossroads. Intent only on refueling before moving along on his road trip, he finds sustenance of an entirely different kind. In addition to the specials of the day, the cafe menu lists three questions all diners are encourage to consider.

  • Why are you here?
  • Do you fear death?
  • Are you fulfilled?

With this food for thought and the guidance of three people he meets at the cafe, John embarks on a journey of self-discovery that takes him from the executive suites of the advertising world to the surf of Hawaii's coastline. Along the way he discovers a new way to look at life, himself, and just how much you can learn from a green sea turtle.

If you aren’t feeling totally fulfilled, try this!

This is a very basic, easy to read and understand Life purpose 101 handbook. The concepts are simple but many people have never considered them. I would be willing to bet that 99% of people would get benefit from reading this. It’s very short and easy so it’s worth it! I will especially be sharing this book with the younger people in my life who are just figuring out what they need to go do in the world. It will offer them a perspective that society for the most part has not.

keep ...keeping on asking questions

As I'm 80+ years old....I find I've listened to or attended motivational talks on similar topics. ...as why are we lucky or have we practiced and thus we are better at getting results...
I found that I understand where this book was going. ...because I've traveled that road many times. ... I now feel the story of my life has several different answers at different stages as I lived longer...as I don't feel older...inside... my body has aged.....my mind n outlook keep...keeping on. ...learn to operate the new technology gadgets. ..don't be left behind in the stone age...ask questions of yourself and ask others for guidance and help understanding what has you questioning the why or how.....

Should be on the young adult shelf

The concept is intriguing, I bought the audiobook - the writing is spoon fed and written in a young reader fashion, ie. every interaction comes with the characters addressing each other by name, prior to their dialogue. The concept is nice, albeit sophomoric - just would have liked knowing this, going in.

Great concept but loses its punch…

I really thought this was going to be powerful and the reviews seem to say so. Maybe it’s just me but after the first couple of short chapters it becomes fairly obvious… money isn’t everything, buying more stuff doesn’t make you happy… guess I was looking for something more substantial.
