About this listen

Duet narration by John Lane and Angelina Rocca.

Faye is the last woman Dion Windsor wants to be near, let alone marry, yet there’s no escaping the alluring pianist he’s been engaged to since they were children.

For years, he made his unwillingness known, but his attempts to keep Faye at a distance fade to dust at the sight of her with another man—mere months before their wedding.

One look at her, and he realizes he’s done running. Time is up, and whether she likes it or not, she’s his.

Or she could be, if the secrets he keeps didn’t hold the power to destroy her.

Publisher's note: Each book in the Windsors series features a different Windsor sibling, and as such, each book can be listened to as a stand-alone. The Unwanted Marriage contains a guaranteed happily ever after and no cheating.

Good but…

Why have all the women in this series so far done extremely dumb stuff? It’s hard to sympathize with them when this happens. Other than this. It’s been a pretty good series. The men for the most part have been wonderful narrators did a great job with characters.

Beautiful

I love the voices! And I’m a sucker for all of the Windsor’s! Dion was beautiful and heartbreaking but I think he is one of my favorite brothers

It’s always the unexpected ones

Dion always carried himself so prim and proper. Throughout this story it was clear that was just how he wanted most to see him. You got to see so many different sides to Dion that’s not shown in the other stories. He truly is a selfless man putting everyone else first and protecting others. The way he let Faye find herself while breaking his own heart was beautiful. At first ididnt love this story. By the second time I realized the true beauty behind this story

It was ok…good storyline and a must read to complete series

The storyline and the romance (spicy scenes) were great! I did not like the narrators. I could deal with male narrator more so than the female narrator. It’s like she had no personality and she talked so slow. I think it’s important to read/listen to because ties to the other books in the series and it leads you into the next book in series. But I did struggle especially in the beginning to finish.

Loved It!

The Unwanted Marriage is the third book of The Windsors series of interconnected standalones. I have loved everything I’ve read by this author and this book is no different! I stayed up until early morning finishing it and I didn’t want it to end. Faye and Dion have been promised to each other since childhood and neither want the marriage. Faye will do anything she has to not to be on the receiving end of her father’s anger and to also protect her stepmother and sisters. I do wish she would have stood up for herself more but thankfully she had Dion on her side. Dion was so tortured by the death of his parents and Faye’s mother. He was protective and possessive of Faye and he was exactly what she needed! This is my new favorite of this series and I can’t wait to read Zane’s story!

John Lane and Angelina Rocca both did an excellent job of portraying these characters. And it was duet narration which is my favorite!

I loved these 2 together

Story: 8.5/10
Spice: 4/5
Spice Hierarchy: Spicy
Narration: 4/5

Dion doesn’t want to get married. He doesn’t think he needs a wife. Faye has known all her life that she would be married to Dion. They are both dealing with unwanted aspects of their new marriage and navigating being together.

I was not prepared for Dion to be dark. Yes, quiet and reserved. Maybe calculating. But I was not ready. Add in the virgin FMC and it gave everything a new feel.

Both Dion and Faye push and pull each other. The tension and fear of hurting the other plays through so well with them. There are some aspects of Cinderella that I loved mixed in.

Angelina Rocca gave such a great voice to Faye. Truly showcasing how quiet and held back Faye was. John Lane was a fantastic voice for Dion with his calmness that soothed Faye and stood up to those that wronged his family.

AWESOME LOVE STORY!!

AWESOME DION AND FAYE'S STORIE IS MY FAVORITE SO FAR!!
AUDIBLE EDITION!!

Faye is being mentally and physically abused by her father. But from birth she has been contracted to marry Dion Windsor. Faye is afraid of Dion at first because he has neglected her over the years. They both don't want this marriage. The marriage was arranged by their deceased mothers.

I didn't understand the negative reviews, about Dion. Dion did everything he could to ease Faye's fears. He was domineering yes, But that's what most Alpha Male are like in these types of Genres. He did everything to protect, shields and make Faye feel like he cared for her and that she was independent and secure. He was always there for her. Dion constantly tells her how much he cares and respects her and eventually he tells her how much he loves her. The only thing I didn't like was him calling her good girl. Yeah, there was a 10-year age gap, but good girl was a bit off.

Faye realizes that not only her father was using and abusing her but her stepmother and her two half sisters too were using her as means to their ends. Dion handled all of them when he found out how Faye was being abused. Dion went Mafia on that despicable father!!

I loved how the couple worked together to overcome all obstacles in their marriage. They stayed together and worked together and in the end they got there HEA!!

Great Story and Great Narration. Defiantly a re read!!

I LOVE this story.

I read this book when it came out. And loved it. Had to listen to it on audio, especially when I saw it was a duet narration.

At first I wasn’t feint the male narrator. But as I listened, I started to feel he was Dion. He did a good job.
I love the female narrators voice. I think she embodied Faye wonderfully.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I did like this book, but I do get the reviews about the male narrator. IMO, he did a good job as Faye father - he brought that character to life. But as Dion, he seems more of the dangerous brother, I wanted something in between lucca and Ares.
