About this listen

When Ryan Beecher returns home after a long deployment overseas, Lexy barely recognizes her husband. The man who left Texas for Afghanistan was cruel and abusive. The man who comes back to her is a badly injured stranger with amnesia - and no memory of their life together. Lexy can't believe how much Ryan has changed. The wounded marine is now gentle, caring, and tender - and his touch awakens yearnings she hasn't felt before. As he takes them both to the point of no return, can Lexy trust this lover who seems to live only for her pleasure as he seeks his salvation in her healing embrace? Stay for Me was previously published as Liberty under the pseudonym Ginger Jamison.

Narrator was boring but the Main Male character was adorable. Lexie got on my everlasting nerves. sometimes I actually wanted to deck her. She teased him too much!

loved ryan/cooper

The storyline is pretty good but the narrator needs some energy. She makes the story boring and dry. There's no emotion evoked within the performance. The narrator can make or break the story and this lady has ruined the story. Its almost like she was reading to herself.

Just okay

That’s how this story starts the hero losses his memory in a terrible explosion while enlisted in the army. He’s found with someone else’s dog tags I miss identified. He is sent home to the wrong Family. And he falls in love with the widow of the dead soldier. This is lovely well written story of love forgiveness and redemption. I give it two big thumbs up and five stars.

What if you lost your memory?!

He loves her, what more does she need!! Relationships like this piss me off. Love conquers all, at least that's what I thought! The narrator was flat. No emotion from character to character. Complex novel, yeah!!

Anger!!!

The storyline got my attention. Not thrilled with the narrator, that alone can make or break an audio book.

Good story.

Lexy finally had her freedom within reach. She was about to earn the life she deserved without fear. She married a man she loved and gave her security. He quickly became a monster that she did not recognize or want to stay with. Two years of service and duty to country he comes home a broken man.

Lexy was not sure but there was something different about her husband. But still she would only stay long enough for him to come home from the hospital. To regain mobility. To get familiar with his surroundings. To become more settled in his life. These were all the things she kept telling herself.

There were some characters here to love, like and really want to do bodily harm to.

Angle Cochrane brought the characters to life. I could have used a bit more male/female separation. Male personas was a big disappointment. There was a lack of feeling and emotion with little to no intensity. It just felt like someone was reading to me.

cruel abusive its time to leave just few more . .

While the narrator was good, the story was a bit Of a struggle to get through. Lexie's character drove me crazy. So much so that it almost ruined the book. Lord knows I do not condone domestic violence but After the 1st 15 to 16 chapters, I wanted to slap her around a little myself. The ending was the best part of the book.

A struggle
