About this listen

In the year 3104, United Planets Agent Jane Trellis finds new hope in cracking the illegal augment trade when time travelers Dr. Albert Snowden, his niece, Emily; V, and Evaran arrive at Roeth, a planet 740 light-years away from Earth.

With Jane’s new allies, she can finally check out the Dyson bubble that is under quarantine. On a personal note, she hopes to discover more about how her husband died while working there.

Experiencing timeline changes, meeting multiple timeline versions of people, rooting out a timeline anomaly, and facing off against a timeline threat were not things Jane had envisioned herself ever doing, yet she finds herself in the middle of all those issues. Becoming a time refugee was definitely not on her list of things to do.

Everan and time travel

I did not read the books preceding this one and was able to catch on rather fast. I still wonder what happened to the crew so they would all get together. I might give a shot to the first book some time in the future and see.
The storyline is pretty straight forward, may be a bit too much. Characters seems invicibles... having these high tech gears coming from the future.
The narrator does a good job at playing the different characters.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

The cast of characters make this story

This story is classified as SF, but it should probably be classified as fantasy, since the "science" in this story is ill-defined and somewhat inconsistent. The highlight of this story (and this series) is the delightful cast of characters. And Michael Pauley's voicing of these characters is spot on.

Most amazing ever!!!

In short,
I'm a Science-fiction addict and I can easily put this series at the top ten if not the best I've ever read/ listen to, waiting for the next one to come out is pure torture for me and it will be the same for all guaranteed!!!
This story takes a hold on you from page one, I lost so much sleep over the last few days, I just couldn't put it down from book one to this fourth ( The Time Refugee ) one.
So now I'm just in detox and the only cure is MORE and More!!!
I really wish I hade the words to describe what a masterpiece this is but I don't so trust me you'll love this series I have absolutely no Doubts about it!
What I can say is that 5 stars is not enough, even the performance is better then perfect ( it would put Hollywood to shame ), that how good it is a real masterpiece and perfection.
After all that it's obvious that I recommend this series for everyone !!
It's so good that none SiFi readers will change their minds if they listened to this creation, it was beautiful from the beginning and keeps getting better as you move on just like wine which gets better this story is the same it don't fade as it progresses unlike so many other good books or movies which are successful and then the second suck, well not here, not with this story it like I've already said and can keep saying, Keeps getting better and better!!!
It's one that you can't wait for the ending but at the same time you really never wants it to ever end.
Trust me, get it and you'll never regret it!!
I promise !!!!!

The story just keeps getting better

I would definitely recommend reading the first three books before this one. And now that is easy with "The Evaran Chronicles Box Set Books 1-3". Well worth the credit for three books.

Adair Hart has created an interesting set of characters with depth and real life attributes. It is easy to get involved with the story and follow even through time.
This book has much more time travel and associated issues than the last three. And I think it was much better for it.
Ready for the next volume to see where this goes.

Michael Pauley did an excellent job narrating this series.

A little better than the previous omnibus edition

I received this audiobook for free from the author / narrator / publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.

I had received the four main books and the prequel, all together. Thus, I got to listen to them in sequence. But the first three books left a bad impression. Those were mostly a poor rehash of Doctor Who. I didn't have much expectation from this fourth book either. I had to listen to it because I needed to give my review. I guess that low expectation helped this book. I found it to be slightly better than the ones before. The writing style has improved a bit in this one and doesn't sound like it was written for mindless consumption. The story itself is more intriguing and got me interested. There were some pacing issues and a few characters were pretty one-dimensional. But after looking past those, this 4th installment is not a let down.

The audio quality is better and no more tacky audio effects. There's better audio and production.
