Catalina "Cat" Duran and her class are off to the recycling center for what seems like the worst field trip ever. But when they arrive, they find out that the recycling plant has been sabotaged! Only Cat and her friends can save the day (and help save the Earth, too!).

When they get to the plant, though, several of their machines are down. Then, during the field trip, another machine goes down, and it turns out that that machine was sabotaged by a baseball. Cat and her friend first suspect Anton, since he had several baseballs on the bus and is now missing one of them. But, did Anton really sabotage the machine or has he been framed? And, if Anton didn't do it, then who did?
This is another of Brezenoff's mysteries and it is just as good as the others have been. I have enjoyed every one of the field trip mysteries that I've listened to, and I can't wait to listen to more. These stories are great for children, and at under 40 minutes, also don't take a huge time investment. They are great for a bedtime story or a car ride, or even some quiet reading/listening time.
Another mystery solved!
