About this listen

Damon is handsome, charming, intelligent. But he does have one little flaw . . .

Amelia was deeply in love with her husband, Sam. Until she discovered he was having an affair with her younger sister, Cara. Ever since, Amelia has had to sit by at family events while her sister and ex-husband flaunt their passionate relationship.

Tired of being seen as a loser, Amelia hires stunningly handsome actor, Damon Chase, to stand in as her boyfriend. A plan that works better than she ever hoped as pathologically competitive Cara throws herself at Damon, causing an acrimonious breakup with Sam.

But Amelia doesn't get to enjoy her moment of triumph for long. Because Damon suddenly announces that he'd like to start dating for real. And he's not taking no for an answer.

As he begins to stalk her, Amelia realizes she doesn't really know this guy, that he may be dangerous.

A fear that is confirmed as her life spirals down into a relentless nightmare and she finally gets to see the real Damon: a man with no boundaries, who will do absolutely anything to get what he wants-her.

Contains mature themes.

hmmm..what shall I say

I am not quite sure how I finished this book, mostly because because I used up a credit...I read the summary and saw it had 5 stars..so I had been expecting a great read..but later saw it had only 2 reviews.. I was initially intrigued at the start of the story..this faded very quickly into the book.. I found the characters to be overdeveloped expansive and at times unrealistic...the story just appeared predictable and overall just flat. It felt too outlandish...then the author sort of tried to wrap everything In pretty bow .it seemed sought of cliche... as for the acting..the narrator did good with the female voices..but the male ones were almost unbearable. especially when the narrator attempted to do an Asian male voice.... I kind felt annoyed listening.... overall, I feel this book could have had great potential, but it fell short.
