About this listen

From New York Times best-selling authors Kass Morgan and Danielle Paige comes a thrilling, dark contemporary fantasy about a prestigious sorority of witches and two girls caught up in its world of sinister magic and betrayals.

At first glance, the sisters of ultra-exclusive Kappa Rho Nu - the Ravens - seem like typical sorority girls. Ambitious, beautiful, and smart, they’re the most powerful girls on Westerly College’s Savannah, Georgia, campus.

But the Ravens aren’t just regular sorority girls. They’re witches.

Scarlett Winter has always known she’s a witch - and she’s determined to be the sorority’s president, just like her mother and sister before her. But if a painful secret from her past ever comes to light, she could lose absolutely everything....

Vivi Devereaux has no idea she’s a witch, and she’s never lived in one place long enough to make a friend. So when she gets a coveted bid to pledge the Ravens, she vows to do whatever it takes to be part of the magical sisterhood. The only thing standing in her way is Scarlett, who doesn’t think Vivi is Ravens material.

But when a dark power rises on campus, the girls will have to put their rivalry aside to save their fellow sisters. Someone has discovered the Ravens’ secret. And that someone will do anything to see these witches burn....

Great Read!

I didn’t care for the audiobook reader that much but the story was great and I enjoyed all the twists and turns. Highly recommend if you’re looking for your next read!

Riveting

This book was so engaging and thrilling, that it was hard to keep myself from listening straight through! I love the buildup of characters and plot with unexpected twists at the end. well written! I look forward to reading the sequel.

Unique & Unexpected

The storyline was a perfect blend of contemporary, fantasy and mystery. I enjoyed the character development and never anticipated the outcome/red herring. My only complaint was that the story dragged on and the book could have ended a couple chapters sooner and been more satisfying.

pleasantly surprised

Not my normal storyline I got it bc my wife is reading it so we could talk about it together. I ended up finishing it prior to her. It kept my intrest and had a cool magic storyline. Well written and fast enough pace with action. Liked the idea of colleges Greek Life cover for magic. Would recommend again. 👌

Beautiful on all counts!

The story was gripping! I felt like I was inside the pages living the experience with them! The narrator was one of the best I’ve heard in a while! So excited to listen to the second book!

DNF

This landed in my did not finish pile and I returned it after chapter 5. The story begins well but then lags and I needed more than teen drama to keep my interest. The narration was okay.

A story of belonging

Desperately wanting to find out what it feels like to belong somewhere… ugh I felt every ounce of emotion from both of the FMCs from both POVs. This story is incredible!
