About this listen

Byron Caige has been a prisoner for the last fifty years of his supernaturally long life. Just when he gives up hope of ever knowing the taste of freedom again, he is unwittingly rescued by the very same woman who only wants to see him dead. Katherine Dare - Kat - is smart, fast, strong, and beautiful - but unfortunately she’s a Hunter, and she’s convinced that Byron murdered her father twenty years ago.

She’s also Byron’s dormant.

As supernatural war breaks out amongst the otherworldly of Earth and threatens the existence of entire races, Kat is faced with a terrible decision. Should she give up her cause and believe Caige when he professes his innocence? Or should she fight him and possibly avenge her father’s taken life - even while she forfeits her own?

OH NO - IS IT REALLY OVER??

If it is then the series went out with a big bang! It had Werewolves, Wizards, Witches AND Vampires - of course they're all handsome and sexy but that's a real plus aye girls!

Another brilliant twisted plot, another funny story, another delicious paranormal romance and another credit well spent.

Love Gildart Jackson's narration

I enjoyed all the books in this series probably mainly due to the narration. The stories were predictable but still fun to listen to.

The Best One Yet!!

This is the best one yet I think!! This is the story of Byron (Lucas's lost brother) a werewolf and Katherine a hunter and a dormant. Two people from opposite ends of the story who come together to fight a common enemy. As their stories unfold, they get help from not only friends, but a couple of mysterious allies. The twists at the end will have you shaking your head and on pins and needles for the next book in this series. Some may take this book as the end of the series, I really, really hope that is not true. For while some questions have been answered, there are still more that have not been answered yet and I would like to see what happens with Jessie.

Best of the series

I think this was the best of this series. This was the audio version and while the narrator was not one of my favorites he did all right. Good plot, good characters.

redhat queen

Wow, this story was fantastic. I loved everything about it. I cried when I thought Katherine was gone, then cheered when the witch and the warlock brought her back to life. I loved this series. I love Gildart as your narrator too.

I really enjoyed this series

Where to start? The ending came too soon, you know how it is when it gets really good and you wonder what is going to happen next...well that is how I was left feeling. Brothers reunited after years of separation and suffering. A mate found who is strong in both her beliefs and is fierce. I enjoy reading about strong female leads that are not crying, sniffling, and weak waiting on the hero to swoop in and save them. I felt like the hero did a little of that but not too much to make you cringe. Overall this series was good and you should check it out.
