Janet Flanner !!!

This is a concise compact somewhat sanitized account of a middle aged woman’s escape from Nazi occupation of Paris. I’ve read many many accounts of Paris’s Nazi period of occupation in much more poignant terms than Miss Flanners account. Her approach is more journalistic and factual which is what I would expect from her journalist background. None the less I’m glad to have read this piece and would recommend it to anyone who would be interested in knowing what it took these poor souls to escape Nazi occupation persecution and oppression.
God bless their memories and may God keep us from repeating it.
