About this listen

Our sector is gone.

We've discovered Terra, but the cost is bitter. All that remains is the Vagrant Fleet, carrying the refugees from every world.

Earth is our only hope, but their leaders don't even believe in magic. We also have to convince the Earth flight protecting them that we're not hostiles. Did I mention the dread fleet is right behind us led by a dark god who seems to have a real hate-boner for Xal'Aran?

If we're going to win, then we must harness the most powerful Catalyst in existence, the Eye of Om. We must fulfill a prophecy millions of years in the making, and find a way to elevate Aran and Nara to the Aranara, guardian of the Eye.

Anything less means complete annihilation, and if we fail here then we lost not just our own universe, but every reality as the dark titan breaks free and shatters the Great Cycle.

I cannot let that happen. I will not. Prophecy can be solved like a riddle, and somehow, I am going to find a way to outsmart them all.

The reason why it’s short is because it’s the end.

At first I wondered why this book was so short, spoilers, it’s the end for Jarick and his nation, but not for Nara or Eren. Not the end as in they die, but that their role in the story is over.

Fie!

As always a series has kept me on my toes and has ended, but not in a way that ends the overall story...MAGNIFICENT!
I have been a fan for years now and will continue to support this author and fine works!

I'm a little disappointed.. ***HEAVY SPOILERS****

I have devoured every book Chris Fox has written! Started off with Magitech Chronicles and fell in love! Moved onto Void Wraith and then Deathless. Then, I started on Magitech Legacy and Shattered Gods. I have even done all the mini books in between while I waited for the next book to be written, Saghir, Crown of Command, The Mothers Ark. And even the absolutely unique Dark Lord Bert!! The 1 hp goblin that made his way to the top!! Bert Smart!! And the Narrator for Bert was also such a fantastic choice. Finally, one more shout out out to Ryan Kennard Burke! Who has really made this entire journey truly special and allowed us to relate and invest in these characters of Chris's that he has brought to life. Thank you guys for years of enjoyment!!

Last Chance Spoilers Ahead! Don't let me ruin the book for you!! This is a rant for those who have finished it.

Now I want to stay unfortunately... this is the first Chris Fox book that has let me down :( 40 books of truly epic tales, yet this one seemed rushed and missed the mark on so many levels. The final showdown with the nameless ones and it didn't barely raise my blood pressure. Voria didn't contribute in any meaningful way, Cruz had 1 line...maybe , Nebiat didn't do anything but die, Frit didn't contribute, we never even heard from Dag, Xal Arans final battle consisted of him translocating out and back... and that was that, never to see or hear from Vinctus again... No show from the Ganog Imperium either... I just think it was weak and lazy and didn't give our pantheon of Gods and the entire universe of characters that were supposed to all be colliding in a final crossover any place in this story. There was no real challenge or battle to the brink of destruction. They just flew right past the nameless ones and boom it was over.. I appreciated Jareks Story Line and his final act. But the whole Briff ascendancy to Earth Father meant absolutely zip... he did nothing and accomplished nothing. The premise from Nara was that nothing was ever going to be the same again and that something catastrophic was going to happen. (nothing did) they all just started a new colony on earth like it was no big deal. Im really sorry to leave a poor review, but this one did not hot that sweet spot. I hope for the next series to pick up, and hopefully we actually get the showdown with Gortha🙏
