Sweet Romance!

This is the fourth book in the Life in Chatswain City Series, a Romantic Comedy. Hailey’s story is sweet, clean, emotional, and heartwarming. Her journey to love is beautifully written. Michelle Croll did a great job bringing this story to life. #StoryOrigin

cute

The story was really cute, and the narration was good.
I liked how the character created (or re-created) friendships with past boyfriends, only to realize what was under her nose the whole time.

THE BEST TYPE OF FRIENDSHIP

Narrated in a lovely clear up beat voice, this story was entertaining, sweet, confronting and the most beautiful romance.
I thoroughly enjoyed the humor, attitude and manner of communicating between these two childhood friends.
RECOMMENDED CLEAN ROMANCE.

Her rock of support

Everyone knew these two would end up together, except them. This is a sweet story, childhood friendship developed into adult relationship. The story is light hearted, but also touches on the emotions when someone is at risk of dying young. Well written. Narration was well done.

Captivating!

Hailey is in need of a liver transplant and her future is looking pretty bleak. There are no blood type matches in her family and she doesn't have a long time. When someone comes forward with a liver, the identity is a mystery since the donor wishes to remain anonymous. But he does leave a message that is signed "the idiot who let you get away." It must be an ex-boyfriend, right? Her roommate and best friend since kindergarten, Xavier, is away on a photo shoot in Spain, and she can't wait to give him the good news. In the meantime, Hailey's going to track down the four ex-boyfriends who could have donated their liver. The stories around the relationships and break-ups with the four men are fascinating and empowering as Hailey gets closure. The identity of the donor isn't a great surprise, and the way the story moves toward the big reveal is wonderful! This is another sweet story by M J Padgett, that leaves me with such a happy heart.
The narration is beautifully done by Michelle Croll. Her dynamic, well-modulated voice brings each character to life.

Great Story With The Friends to Lovers Trope

I enjoyed book 4 of the "A Life In Chatswain City" series. Hailey was at death's door and needed a kidney transplant in order to survive. An unknown person donated his kidney to her with the stipulation that it had to remain anonymous. After the surgery, Hailey decided to search for the secret kidney donor. The story was sweet and romantic. The characters were charming and delightful. Michelle Croll's narration was entertaining and kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Finding the Donor - Which Ex Donated?

Parents- PG- good for middle school to adults
Language- minimal to nonexistent
Violence- PG- nothing too graphic
Sexual Content- PG Kissing and references to living together but no real details

This has an emotional start with a girl dying from a liver tumor and on the waiting list to get a new liver. She gets an anonymous liver donation with a note saying that this guy still loves her and ending their relationship is his biggest regret. So she goes on a hunt through all the guys she dated trying to find her mystery donor with the help of her best friend and her sister. Can she get a Do-Over and finally find love? It was a really sweet and fun ride of romance with a little touch of comedy here and there. Really enjoy this author, she does a great job of creating relatable characters that you find yourself invested in their outcome. Definitely recommend.

Narrator- did a great job with the differentiations and was fun to listen to. I preferred 1.25x speed.
