About this listen

For the first time, Macy Blake’s two best-selling paranormal fantasy series are being published in a three-volume mega-verse bundle!

Each volume will feature three full-length MM novels with dragons, hellhounds, vampires, and more, with never-before-published bonus material. All in fan-requested chronological order.

Volume one:

Sweet Nothings: The Chosen One, Prequel

Middle school teacher Sam Baker’s life is turned upside down when he learns Vaughn, his former high school crush, is actually an alpha werewolf. When they rescue six orphaned shifter children, Sam joins forces with Vaughn to protect the children placed in their care. The future they dreamed of is now within reach, but only if they survive the sinister force out to destroy everything they hold dear.

All or Nothing: The Chosen One, Book One

Sawyer Smith is completing his master’s degree and preparing to take on the world, and he’s hoping to take his best friend Draco along for the ride. There’s only one problem: Draco has a big, scaly secret, and it’s about to change Sawyer’s life forever. Sawyer is plunged into a fantastical world he never knew existed, filled with creatures of legend who are destined to be guardians of The Chosen One. When he finds himself attracted to all the guardians, Sawyer wonders if he should really be guarding his heart from the men he’s growing closer to by the day, or if he should give in and risk losing it all.

Nothing Ventured: The Chosen One, Book Two

As a magical null, Sawyer Smith is woefully unprepared for the dangers that come with being part of the supernatural world. He’s human and vulnerable, even with the powerful, sexy guardians who have claimed him as their own. When a simple visit turns deadly, Sawyer’s mates whisk him away to the clan of the rich and powerful griffins. Danger lurks in close quarters and a new guardian is revealed. If Sawyer hopes to discover the ancient enemy hunting The Chosen One, he must survive the newest tests facing him and the magical creatures he’s grown to love.

Includes bonus short stories:

  • "Santa Trouble": Santa Claus is coming to town, and the kids are determined to keep their pack safe from him. Can Sam and Vaughn clear up the misunderstanding before the big day is ruined?
  • "The Trouble with Love": It’s Valentine’s Day with the Jerrick pack, and Vaughn has big, romantic plans for Sam. But making plans when you have six kids is just asking for trouble.

Great Narrator - Sweet Characters

I had only read the discussion for the first book, so it was a little surprising after that, but it was amazing. Love that they are putting the two series and the novellas in order for us

Love this series

I actually really love this series and this author and recommend the Kindle version. But I don't recommend the audio version, unless you like your steamy scenes to sound like a recap of a crime scene, like a forensic files narration. This doesn't come through on the sample, so it's worth mentioning.

S³x scenes aside, the narrating was decent, but there's a lot of really good steam in this series. Skipping it shaves hours off the book. For these reasons, the Kindle version is better, and I won't purchase another book by this narrator.

Le sigh....

Ok, full honesty here, I have read with my eyes and ears every single book and short story set in this universe multiple times. One can say I'm a bit of a fan so when I saw that the audios were combined in the correct read order, I of course had to buy it, even though I own each title separately. And boy did I enjoy it. All 22 hours of it.

This one starts with Sweet Nothings, which is my ultimate favorite of this world cause I love Sam and the kids.

Then you get all the short and sweet stories featuring them.

It then moves on to the first Chosen One story, All or Nothing.

Which then turns into the second book, Nothing Ventured.

I still love Sam the most even after all these rereadings and hope y'all love him as well.

One thing to mention, you really need to follow the reading order for this magnificent but really huge world. Having the bundles makes doing that so much easier.

Also, I'm not sure these would be so good without it being narrated by Michael Dean. I love his voice and he does these characters really well.

narrator

love Micheal Dean.
I read a while back and he brought it to life. I remember why I liked these stories but stopped reading the series because they weren't quite like the first books

Awesome series & well read.

This is a compilation of books in an over arcing story. The characters keep your attention and you fall for every character. The person narrating the story has a great voice and differentiates between characters with his voice. Story is so good I've first read it a few times then got the audio book and listened a few times too.

Bad Trash

First part in the larger volume was pretty good - odd that a supernatural child rescue story was intermixed with a couple of bad porn narratives, but was still good.

That was followed by a few cute short stories.

The 3rd section was nothing but a narrated version of a bad porn (70% of that section). There were only occasional lapses into an actual plot. Even the actual plot seemed focused ONLY on setting up what would be the next 20 minute explicit interlude.

Irritating thing is the overall universe and plot had been built up and well done - it just got lost for the last many many hours of dull every-which-way-possible orgies and overly explicit narrative.
