Helped me tremendously with anxiety issues

This was an amazing audio book! I listened to it on a long drive from Los Angeles, CA to San Lucas, CA. I tend to get groggy on the road and listening to music doesn't help too much. I was pleasantly surprised when a friend recommended I listen to this audio; she knows I am always stressed out at this job. I did not predict that listening to something that actually will help me with my anxiety would keep me focused and paying attention while driving. The tips featured in the audio was put to use almost immediately. I got to the hotel and practiced one of the exercises in the book and lo and behold, it worked like a charm! I slept well that night. The exercises are simple and easy and like the title says they can be done in only 5 minutes! I highly recommend this book to anyone suffering from stress and anxiety.

Very Helpful!

This was a good listen, narrator was clear and easy to understand. Really in-depth info on stress and how to deal with it. I liked the practical exercises, and the stress self-assessment was really helpful.

I Can't Believe How Much This Book Has Helped Me!!

Full disclosure here, I suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, and probably ADD (not diagnosed). And any kind of stress makes everything so much worse. That's why I am always on the lookout for new ways to control my stress level. I am so glad that I found this book. It is not too long (my ADD), and not too academic or theoretical (again my ADD) and the narrator's voice is very pleasing and the way she reads it makes it "entertaining". Stress Relief for the Anxious Mind is amazing, I can't believe how much I love the activities and exercises this book provides. And for the first time in a while, I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, I am not saying that this book will instantly make everything all right. But for me, it provides me with tools to make some small steps toward my happiness.

Great read for anyone with a stressed mind

As an engineer who works long hours on some days, days can be very stressful. So I have been looking for many resources to help me deal with all the stress I am getting from work. I stumbled on this book when looking through Amazon, and I decided to give it a try.

I have been listening to this audiobook to and from work, and was able to go through it within four days. This audiobook offers very practical advice that can be easily applied into everyday life. At the beginning, this audiobook goes into a deep analysis about what stress is and how it affects the body and mind.

After listening to this audiobook for quite some time, I have found the most beneficial part of the book to be the short one, five, and ten minute exercises to relieve stress practically. These are in and of itself very useful to apply easy to do techniques into your daily habit and routine. So far I am listening to this audiobook for a second time, and find that listening to the whole audiobook again helps with getting the information into your head a lot better.

Overall, I highly recommend this a lot to anyone who is going through stress in their daily life and wants to find a place to start!
