Must read for anyone with ADHD!
I always used to think of my ADHD as a curse, a problem, a weakness. After reading this book, I'm beginning to look at my ADHD totally different. I love how this book helps me change the way I think about myself and has helped me embrace my ADHD. M. Yvette Quintana has show me to turn my ADHD into my superpower and work with my quirks rather than against them. Embrace Your ADHD Super Powers!
I really loved this audiobook. I had previously read the book of the same title, which is a great read. Once the audio was playing, I realized how much I hadn't retained. I have found for me that listening to an audiobook is very helpful, as hearing the words helps me visualize my thoughts. Having the book also works really well for me to refer back to things, marking areas of more importance or things to go back and review.
The narrator has a pleasant voice and is very easy to listen to. The author presented so much insight and ideas that were really helpful. I have read plenty of books and articles about ADHD, however, this audiobook definitely worked better for me than anything else I had previously listened to or read. This audiobook is an easy listen (which is exactly what someone with ADHD needs). The author brought up a few things and ideas that I have heard before, however, had forgotten. I absolutely appreciated the holistic and spiritual approach as well. Most books don't seem to go there, especially the Spiritual. Holistic and Spiritual is a path I choose to follow, so having this as part of the book, as well as all the other useful information, was a huge bonus for me. I found the author to be very insightful about ADHD and she was able to relate to a lot of what I deal with in my personal life. I felt as if she was talking to me. I have already found an improvement in my well-being since hearing this audiobook and have put some of her suggestions into place already.
I was excited as soon as I heard the Introduction. This book is written into 3 different Parts: The Body, The Mind, The Spirit and also included a Conclusion. As someone who has ADHD, I found the structure of the way it was presented extremely helpful for my brain to absorb the information without feeling overwhelmed.
The author definitely helped me to realize that Yes, I Have An Adult ADHD SuperPower and to Embrace It!
My Advice-Listen to this Audiobook. You won't be disappointed.

I listened to this audible book as I am dating a man whose son has ADHD and I wanted to understand more about supporting him. I think I can honestly help him look for the positive aspects of ADHD and for him to focus more on the things he wants. To help him have a positive mindset without labeling himself just because he has ADHD. I recommend this audible book.

Highly recommend this book for anyone with ADHD!
As someone with ADHD, I've always thought of it as an annoying inconvenience that can put me at a disadvantage. I absolutely love how the author frames ADHD as a superpower, because when you think about it, it really can be! This book made me think about ADHD in a totally different light. I loved the content on mindfulness training - mindfulness is something I try to practice and find to be so helpful.
I found the narration to be engaging and pleasant to listen to. I'd recommend this audiobook for anyone who has ADHD or has someone in their life with ADHD - or anyone who is just curious about the condition!

I have always suspected that I have maybe more than a touch of ADHD but have never wanted to pursue diagnosis for fear of being medicated and having the good things in my personality stunted or muted. After reading this book, I am convinced that I was right about my own ADHD, but am also hopeful that there are natural ways of managing my symptoms while maximizing my creativity and other gifts that ADHD has given me. Begin an adult with ADHD, the author "gets it" and this book sounds like a good friend talking to me on my own personal level. I loved the tips on "forest bathing," meditation, self hypnosis, and even the suggestion to explore other creative hobbies as an outlet for ADHD. I have always been a visionary and the creative spoke in any project and now I realize that this is the upside of my ADHD and I can embrace it. I recommend this book for everyone. If we don't have ADHD, we know someone who does and this will help us have compassion on ourselves and others.

Really helpful!
My husband has struggled with ADHD all his life. The approach in this book is holistic and that's what I really appreciate the most. Its not a quick Rx solution, its a whole life improvment solution. Thank you!
