understanding the struggle
Having closely witnessed someone struggle with alcohol addiction, I’ve often wondered why they couldn’t simply stop, especially given the toll it’s taken on them and their loved ones. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to understand how cruel and unforgiving life can be, which might explain why some turn to alcohol as a way to cope.
