John Conroe is the best at writing OP characters!!

What made the experience of listening to Snake Eyes the most enjoyable?

In the pass week I have re-listened to entirety of the demon Accords series all 11 books. It just amazes me how I still love this series and I feel it will only get better. Between me and my wife we have over 600 audible books and Mark Tufo's zombie apocalypse is the only other series like this that we have that has over 11 books. And I have to say that zombie apocalypse is amazing but after book 9 it has just gone stall as hell. Same stuff just a different day. BUT the Demons Accords series is far from stall I feel it's just getting started I can't wait to see what's going to happen in the next 11 books there are so many possibilities. Just to name some other worlds, kids, dragons, warlock god, and universal wellness.Another thing that amazes me about this writer is he has enough skill to write about an Over Powered (OP, for my geeks out there) character without taking away powers and still make it good book after book. I get so frustrated when writer make there character OP then take away there power some how im not talking about a weakness but something like. Oh I can read minds but I don't want to cause I wouldn't want someone to read my mind. That's just stupid and I know people are stupid but I want my hero to be the one smart one so sue me. The fact is they needed there character to have that power for one event but after that they could not think of a proper way to utilize the character properly without breaking their book. That just bad writing. So conclusion John Conroe is a genius when it comes to OP character. He is an inspiration to me and I want him to keep up the good workP.s. My personal favorite authors are Orson Scott card, Brandon Sanderson and now John Conroe. I just fell Conroe needs to write one 30 hour book.

What other book might you compare Snake Eyes to and why?

I guess these books are like twilight but on SUPER steroids. Also reversed where the female is vampire and the male was the special human.

Just Awesome! Perfect match of Author & Narrator

I've enjoyed all the releases of this series and this one did not disappoint. love the individual characters, plot, and delivery. The additional storyline post action was a nice touch. I like hearing more from the characters as they move on to getting back to normalcy.

love this series

I can't describe how much I love this series! I've binged all but the last two, having to wait for the release.

I strongly recommend this series!

where this isn't my favorite book of the series, this book isn't a slouch either.

I never wanted Stacia and Declan together, ( still don't, but I'm not the author...:)), I really enjoy the new and creative adventures the characters go thru.

Awesome

Much better than rogues though I liked rogues and every book in this epic series.

I loved having Chris and Declan both heavily involved in the main plot line.

The book had TONS of action and stuff actually got done. I only point this out because I finished "the godling chronicles". It was over 64 hours and had MAYBE one big in each of the 6 books. The snake eyes book beat it in its 11 hours alone.

Every time a big issue was resolved I would be like "that was awesome! Loved this book" then I would check my iPod only to realize there was 4 hours left! They kicked the teeth in of the main baddie from rogues which rocked. Then master Conroe was like "that's a good end... But I can do better" so they stop humanity from being wiped out by an epic elemental next. "Still not enough" he sais and brings the god hammer twins into the world, lets Chris scare the ever loving crap out of the coven that had it coming and let the team beat the government in an epic debate which(content wise) would have been fluffed out into another book if anyone but John was writing this series.

Ur amazing John, keep it up

A change of pace

I love this series. The characters are all distinct and self contained. There are no stereotypes, even with the baddies. This story actually threw me for a loop. While you go into the story knowing what's about to transpire, the plot then comes to light. Brilliant storytelling. Narration is clear, well performed, and full of emotion. Can't say enough about this series and all it's branches. Pick it up immediately.

overpowered? Yes!

Is the main character overpowered? Yes! Does it take away from the story? NO! Who doesn't want to picture themselves as a demi-god once in a while?
