Secrets of lineage

Doctor Watson and Sherlock Homes are asked to help when an old body is discovered next to an elderly sewer pipe next to an elm tree. The more they investigate; the better the estate appears for the people living on it, schools, clean water and other benefits for the people living there.

Excellent!

A very engaging story by David Marcum that continues ACD’s adventures of the great consulting detective with echos of Dickens’s Great Expectations. Leave it to Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson to solve the mystery. The narration by Time Winters is excellent.

Enjoyable Sherlock story

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is one of the better Sherlock stories I have read and I have read a lot. While the ending was predictable it kept you reading till the end. If you need a new Sherlock tale I
Would recommend.

What three words best describe Time Winters’s voice?

Another Enjoyable Novel from David Marcum

The Holmes canon is now huge, and yet this story is one of the better ones. Marcum is a good stylist, particularly for an American. I took one star off for the performance, not because of the excellent narrator, but because of the atypical editing. After about 10 or 15 minutes, you get used to it.
