About this listen

Megan Brooks’ past has led to the ultimate punishment. And now with nothing left to lose, she goes in search of those responsible for her son’s death. Her only path to the sordid details is in seducing Rick, the manager of taboo nightclubs run by the Aryan Brotherhood. But his answers only make for more questions. Follow Megan as she weaves her way through corrupt characters while circumventing her cop boyfriend to find the truth.

The realness of the cases.

The realness of the cases. Written by a chemist retired from a crime lab and very familiar with the locations in Tarrant County. Cases are graphically described. Her first book was Shambles and references are made to previous events but you don’t have to read them in order.
