I enjoyed this short story, which felt like a section of a larger story. I felt like something was missing, perhaps more character development to get into the story. Overall, it was a good read.

I like Sally Thorne so I thought I’d give this short a shot. The story is contrived and given the FMC’s past trauma, I highly doubt she’d be so calm in the circumstance described. I just couldn’t get on board with anything about this story.

This is one of my least favorite tropes. Poor handsome man doesn’t get taken seriously at work. Rosie is also very insecure. Not a bad book, just not my favorite kind of characters.

This was cute. Rosie is a hot mess who gets locked in a floatation unit and is rescued by a wonderful firefighter after they fall for each other sight unseen.

The silly flirty banter made this one pretty cute, but I had a hard time telling what was a thought and what was dialogue in the audiobook. This was super-short, but it really worked as a short story.
