About this listen

***Now with revised content!***

I wasn't the type of girl who believed in fairytales, much less tales about faeries, but that changed the day the fae walked into my life. Staying away from my lakeside hometown was the plan, but Mom died suddenly. Dad said she suffered a stroke after she dug up one of the ancient Native American graves in our backyard. Creepy, I know. Creepier still, there was no corpse inside the old coffin, only fresh rose petals.

As we made preparations for her burial, unnervingly odd and beautiful newcomers poured into my small town. A coroner with emerald eyes and black hair, much too young for the job. An arrogant blond socialite, who lived to get under my skin. And a tattooed Native man, who wasn’t supposed to be alive.

By dying, my mother had inadvertently revived an age-old feud between the fae and the tribe that hunted them. A feud that was about to tear my world apart.

Download today to start listening to this paranormal adventure that listeners are comparing to The Vampire Diaries...but with faeries.

Never Stop Believing in Fairytales

I have loved this book from the beginning, and was excited to listen to the new edition. I absolutely love Catori she is such a fierce and compassionate human. She stays strong even after suffering great loss.
She is snarky and full of spunk.
I cannot wait to see how the rest of her story unfolds.

Rose Petal Graves

This is the first book in The Lost Clan series. I really enjoyed this book. Cat's life changed when her mother died. When she returned home she starts finding signs that her mother's death was supernatural. She learns that Fae exists. I really loved this book. Can't wait to listen to book two. Kasi Hollowell and Tim Campbell did a fantastic job narrating this book.

Best of both worlds.

Catori receives a devastating news about her mother and returns home to Rowan. Where once a sleepy little village begins to see beautiful travelers. Cat befriends one of the new travelers and this is where the fun begins. The world building is great. I’m a big sucker for Native American folklore so I enjoyed the spin that the author did with Fae. It’s the best of both worlds.

The narrators, Kasi Holloway and Tim Campbell did a phenomenal job portraying the characters. Together they brought the story to life.

I would highly recommend this book if you enjoy folklore and fae. It was truly the best of both worlds!! Looking forward to listening to book #2.

Love the concept and narrator

I think this is a unique story that has a lot of depth and a strong cast of characters. I love fantasy stories with deep character lineage that is outlined in a way that's not convoluted. This is a long haul slow burn romance but it'll be worth it in the end I think. can't wait for the next installment

okay

the story ok, but between the annoying FMC and the narrators Disney princess voice, it started to get kind of annoying.

Great start to the series

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Rose Petal Graves. Interesting take in the world of Fae and Hunters. Can’t wait to see what lies ahead for Catori in her changing world. Narrator also does a good job. Ready for book 2.

Interesting native mythology and great world building and characters

4.5 stars! It’s always great to read a book that takes pieces from different mythologies and weaves them so well together into something unique and intriguing. We have the Fae world, and hunters, but’s it’s woven in with a Native American style of mythology that makes it even more fascinating. The characters are well developed as well. The MC, Kat, has a great personality, and her interactions with both the Fae and hunters, and even those regular humans, are great. Her dad, her aunt, her best friend, the Fae, especially how her relationship with Ace evolves, and the hunters and how that evolves as well. The relationships aren’t static, and their not black and white, but thousands of shades of grey. The story goes seamlessly from melancholy to literal laugh out loud moments (where can I get some of those blue cupcakes???), all while projecting the story forward at a good pace, and while still maintaining a healthy level of intrigue and mystery. The narrator was fantastic as well, injecting emotion and Physical nuance into the reading expertly. A highly enjoyable listen, on all fronts.

Beautiful and unique story

I love the author’s twist on Fae and the incorporation of Native lore. It was a beautifully written story, and the narration was perfection.

The Lost Clan, Book 1

Rose Petal Graves is highly imaginative and original. I thought the narration was on point and recommend the story via Audible as it allows you to get swept away even more in the world building.
