Publisher's summary

A line has been drawn - Indie versus Pro.

Here at GearShark, we're straddling that line to bring you exclusive coverage of what some have dubbed the war of racing. Every war starts with a spark and ends in revolution. Drew Forrester was the spark, but his second-in-command, Trent Mask, is the revolution. What does it take to stand brave in the face of opposition? Resolve of steel.... Stubborn will.... And a heart that refuses to give up.

Contains mature themes.

Amazing

This has been one of my favorite love stories. #rev shows that every love is special and unique. No one has the right to judge it.

You smell like home.

If you could sum up #Rev in three words, what would they be?

Love, friendship, "family".

What did you like best about this story?

I loved Trent and Drew's relationship- it started out as friendship and blossomed into this amazing love. They care so much about each other, it makes my heart so happy.

What does Luke Itzvic and Guy Locke bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think I probably laughed out loud and giggled more when listening to it than I did reading. It's so fun to hear some of the things spoken out loud- I'd find myself smiling so much!

If you could take any character from #Rev out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Braeden- he cracked me up!

Any additional comments?

I've read the whole GearShark series and I loved revisiting some of the characters again in this book, especially Lorhaven and Arrow. After reading their books it was interesting to come back to them here, it gave me a better appreciation of their relationships with Trent and Drew.

Good story. Good narration.

The first book was full of emotional tension which didn't drop off in this book. Trent and Drew work their way through the perils of being in an unconventional relationship.

I liked the first, but...

I LOVED the second. This one was all about the feels, and I fell in love with both men and their bravery. People can only hope to find a love like that. Great narration, too!

Loved..Loved..LOVED this book with all my heart and soul. Why love, what passionate sex and what hot bod men just going at it full throttle.
It set the pages on fire and my cheeks blazed.
Hot and sensitive, both in the same juicy vein.

Great conclusion to the series!

So much drama! Well – okay – there’s a lot going on with these guys. They’ve just decided they’re in love. Drew is starting up his own indie racing division. Trent is dealing with graduating and his fraternity politics. And, at the end of book one, Trent got gay bashed and old Drew they had to break up!
This story picks up literally right from that point.
On the one hand, there is a lot of hang wringing and internal angsting. But…if you remember this is a New Adult story – the angst makes sense and feels totally appropriate.
I love that the couple doesn’t actually give up on one another at all. They stick together and make a plan and decide – when the time is right – to seek revenge and to come out all in one fell swoop.
I loved how tender and romantic these guys were with one another, while still feeling like “guys”. There were a few internal monologues that felt a bit OTT and inauthentic – but for the most part – this felt really true to the age and descriptions of these guys. They’re alpha males and not inclined to flowers and romance.
There’s a part where they are playing football that felt like the perfect juxtaposition of guys being guys but also a few hearts and flowers as Drew “defended” Trent from his attackers.
The sensual times were off the charts hot and the feels were plentiful.
I loved the dual narration – again – Drew’s voice is to DIE for – and I really thought that helped to cement the characters in my mind and really made this feel more like a movie and mutli-dimensional.
If you loved book one, this is a VERY satisfying book two and you’ll want to read it for sure. I enjoyed it and found it to be touching, sweet and hot (if a little too much drama and angst for my tastes – but consistent with the age group.)

4.25 (rounded to 4.5) of 5 stars for the audio and book

Fantastic followup to #Junkie

While I didn't get my race car driving fix in "#Rev" I am still pleased with the continuation from the first book. I loved seeing Trent and Drew grow further into their awe-inspiring relationship. More often then not it seems that in romance novels the couples go through hell to be together throughout nearly the entire book and when they finally settle their shit, if we are lucky we see at least one chapter where they are lovey dovey. I also liked the continuation of the supporting characters from previous books and new comers. From start to finish this book has kept my attention thanks to the awesome performers.

5 stars - I would listen again...#Trew 4eva

AFun Read -

The two books are a fun read. The two main characters were very well developed. You got to know them, feel the angst and the tension building between them. The racing is a cool bonus.

Loved Luke Itzvic's narration. Guy was a little strained.
