Publisher's summary

Isis Blake hasn't fallen in love in three years, 43 weeks, and two days. Or so she thinks.

The boy she maybe-sort-of-definitely loved and sort-of-maybe-definitely hated has dropped off the face of the planet in the face of tragedy, leaving a Jack Hunter-shaped hole. Determined to be happy, Isis fills it in with lies and puts on a brave smile for her new life at Ohio State University.

But the smile lasts only until he shows up. The menace from her past - her darkest secret, Nameless - is attending OSU right alongside her. And he's whispering that he has something Isis wants - something she needs to see to move forward. To move on.

Isis has always been able to pretend everything is okay. But not anymore. Isis Blake might be good at putting herself back together. But Jack Hunter is better.

Didn't Want Story to End

Really didn't want this story to end. Fell in love with every single character. Love all the personalities and writing style. Definitely will recommend and relisten/reread. Thank you!

Spoiler Alert

I cried because it ended. I didnt like how it cut 2 years into the futute, but it was incredible. I'm a teenager who is a hopeless romantic. this book probably set me up for unrealistic standards, but I couldnt get enough. it took me 2 days to read the first two when I could find time after school. the last book I stretched throughout the past couple days. I liked how it was slow burn, but it got infuriating at times. Especially when he told her at the well that he didnt like her, it broke my heart. During the scene where shes trying to plant the chip, I couldnt stop shaking because I got attached to the characters and didnt want her to get hurt. the only great downside to this story is how I'm sad that it ended and how I will never know how they are doing because they're not real. no matter how real they feel, I will never meet a Jack hunter and will never see him again. this series is definitely in my top 3.

ISIS is very immature but I think she's I! I can't stand the I'm fat, i'm ugly stuff but she was definitely funny.

Overall good but...

I really wish they would’ve made some kind of announcement when they transition from POV’s. I got confused a lot trying to figure out who was “talking”

otherwise it was good.

Disorganized and confusing

Not only are thre books and series confusing bit a lot of it is poorly written. Not sure hore thre reading version is, but the audio version goes from one character to another's POV without a pause or mention. So confusing.
Add on top of that, it keeps repeating itself/scenes. It hasn't happened in any other book/ series so makes me believe it's the production of this one. Hear a scene, 5 minutes later, hear it again.

I've kept involved so far due to the cliff hangers. But it's just not worth it any more. Lots of "Hints" about what happened, but also lots of cross overs and just confusing to finish. Can't finish this.

If this writer puts out another book, I hope there is a better thought process with the sequence of events and story telling. The concept/idea for the book was good, just poorly executed.

80,000 thoughts a day

It was okay. FACT: “Experts estimate that the mind thinks between 60,000 – 80,000 thoughts a day. That's an average of 2500 – 3,300 thoughts per hour. That's incredible. Other experts estimate a smaller number, of 50,000 thoughts per day, which means about 2100 thoughts per hour.” Don’t get me wrong, I dig Isis...I got a bit of the attitude, “get to the point” or “time to get out of that phase of joking all the time.” Let’s get serious, now! I couldn’t take it anymore-her ramblings and avoiding the real issues. I know it’s her personality and she’s just growing out of it...the process was quite too slow for me. I always liked everyone else for some reason because I do see a great progress on them moving on. Isis is such an odd bird and sometimes, it was tough for me to see her not fly already and keep it on a float. So, on that note, it wasn’t awful, it’s more I guess, you must be invested to take Isis’s many thoughts running in her head...It was cute at first but in time, it annoyed the hell out of me. LOL
