Story
Life isn't that easy. Just like everything else, there are rules and regulations—and Chance didn't make the cut. Not until a lucky encounter gets him a one-way ticket to his future. A world where he can make something of himself. If only he hadn't landed in the middle of an endless maze full of monsters salivating for his life. Isolated and lost, the only thing Chance has to work with is his strange, luck-based magic and his determination to finally live a life worth living.

Zane was driving home from work when the world changed. Thousands of dungeons spawned at once, taking up every inch of Earth—including the road he’s driving on. He wakes up to a totaled car and a broken leg, facing down a goblin trying to spear him through the guts. And that's just the start of it. But to Zane’s surprise, he finds himself enjoying this brutal new world. While others cower and hide, he goes on the hunt. A clock hangs over the head of every mortal. Counting down to the inescapable day that the Goddess of Death claims them. That is the way of the world. The natural cycle of mortals. The Gods, however, were said to live for forever. To exist so far outside of the natural laws of the universe that even their crimes can't be punished. Publisher's summary
Luck can only go so far.
Gleam may be fading into the distance, but Vex is far from done with Chance and Bella. At his command, the Shikari set off in hot pursuit of them. The best way to evade their hunters is to blend into the villages that surround the massive Scholar City.
But, as Bella shows Chance more of the new world he’s found himself on, they stumble into forces that not even Vex could have predicted would be at play.
Yamish stands in wait, offering a solution to all of their troubles — a solution that stands at direct opposition to Chance’s boundless optimism. If he’s going to find a way to survive Vex without losing Bella in the process, something is going to have to give.
Luck might not be enough, but Chance has never been good at giving up when he’s meant to.
Book 2 of the next hit Progression Fantasy Cultivation series from Actus, bestselling author of Blackmist & Cleaver's Edge.
Join the adventure of a Karmic Cultivator in a brutal new world who refuses to compromise his values on his quest to grow stronger. Sometimes, luck isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Story
Victor can’t wait to get the hell out of high school, go to the local community college on a sports scholarship, and start his own life. But that’s all put on hold when he enters his abuela’s house and somehow ends up stepping into a world unlike anything he’s ever known, filled with fantastical meta-humans; walking, talking devils; and other creatures one usually needs some serious pharmaceuticals to see. Fanwath is no dream, though. In fact, it’s a nightmare.

Story
Summoners are born, not made. For Bran of Ealdor, this is the one thing stopping him from becoming a member of the legendary warriors known as summoners. They are gods among men who can call monsters into battle to fight alongside them. Mages, Rangers, Beastmasters, Protectors, Hunters, and Lancers. These are the six classes of summoners. None of which Bran can become.

Maximo Strident, war veteran and member of local law enforcement, never wanted to enter the dungeon. With promises of wealth beyond his imagination, his squad mates managed to convince him. Max isn’t a Knight, so he has no magical equipment or spells that could help him against monsters. What he does have, however, are the sword forms he learnt at the Blade Academy. These forms are formidable martial arts that make him the match of Level 0 monsters. But Level 99 monsters? He doesn’t stand a chance.

The aliens didn't conquer Earth. They negotiated exclusive streaming rights instead. Unbeknownst to humanity, the powerful Voltaxians controlled the galaxy, their vast empire fueled by their monopoly on mana. Humanity feared invasion, only to find out the godlike aliens had something far different in mind. The Voltaxians offered a simple deal. Allow them to set up dungeons controlled by living intelligent dungeon cores on Earth to generate mana, and they'd share the wealth.

Story
When Yao Shen, Patriarch of the Heavenly Sky Sect, ascends and regains memories of his past life on Planet Earth, he realizes that he can no longer allow himself to accept the cruel and violent ways of Eliria, the realm of cultivation. So he decides to change it. It was time to found a new sect. One based on the values of honor and equality over senseless violence and discrimination. A sect where all, from the mortal farmer’s son to a sect elder's daughter, were held accountable to the same rules.

Story
Monty was dead until he wasn't. His body was no longer his own, having been shoved into a dying priest in the heart of a totally different world of magic and death. The priest had been protecting a caravan—a duty Monty now inherited—and he was faced with bandits and worse, all while keeping up the façade of his stolen identity. Luckily, the priest had been capable of miraculous [Light] magic, and now so was Monty. He could heal . . . and he could kill. And he would, without hesitation. He'd rather not die again.

I was a Hunter, and I honored the Code. For my services to humanity and for leading a "proper" life, I was to be rewarded. A new life after death, and a new world to give me some well-deserved rest. But something went wrong. Once again, I must fight. The Monsters that face me here are far more terrifying than those of my past life. They are cleverer, crueler, more unpredictable. And their name is.

Story
Dhane kicked the bucket in spectacular fashion, every bone crushed, every organ popped against the full force of a 40-ton garbage truck speeding through a red light. The only part of him intact—whole—entirely unaffected by the grisly affair was his soul. Souls are durable things, you see, like kids: they bounce. And bounce he did, into the abyss between worlds, drifting until one excited soul watcher fished him out and found him a new home, a heaven for gamers and nerds and everything in between.

I am becoming frustrated.
The MC is just doing things out of supposed fairness for his Karma and its driving me insane. I was listening to this on a flight and would have put something else on but at 30000 ft my internet wasn't working. I suffered through it and it got a little better. I am not sure if I will get the next book.

Inane Descisions and Repitition
What i lovemost of a story is to here a lil peptalk spiel about how they (two characters) should go do something cross a metaphorical sometimes literal bridge then have the exact same conversation again with the same boring logic like FFS get on with it. In addition the MC keeps calling his essence Luck when its was specifically addressed in the first book that it wasnt just luck, that it was kharmic Luck with friendly neighborhood debt collector sprinkled in there. It makes more sense when you realize the author is pumping out more books than a harem fiction author in heat so the quality just aint gonna be there but its decent junk food. For the narration there are some stories that could use this guy but not a story with young adults as the MCs. Everyone sounds like they smoke 12 packs a day and every sentance has a strange lilting tone at the end of it as if its all a grand mystery, it aint
