Publisher's summary

The latest Stephanie Plum novel from #1 New York Times bestseller and “the most popular mystery writer alive” (The New York Times) Janet Evanovich.

She said yes to Morelli. She said yes to Ranger. Now Stephanie Plum has two fiancés and no idea what to do about it. But the way things are going, she might not live long enough to marry anyone.

While Stephanie stalls for time, she buries herself in her work as a bounty hunter, tracking down an unusually varied assortment of fugitives from justice. There’s Eugene Fleck, a seemingly sweet online influencer who might also be YouTube star Robin Hoodie, masked hero to the homeless, who hijacks delivery trucks and distributes their contents to the needy. She’s also on the trail of Bruno Jug, a wealthy and connected man in the wholesale produce business who is rumored to traffic young girls alongside lettuce and tomatoes. Most terrifying of all is Zoran—a laundromat manager by day and self-proclaimed vampire by night with a taste for the blood of pretty girls. When he shows up on Stephanie’s doorstep, it’s not for the meatloaf dinner.

With timely assists from her stalwart supporters Lula, Connie, and Grandma Mazur, Stephanie uses every trick in the book to reel in these men. But only she can decide what to do about the two men she actually loves. She can’t hold Ranger and Morelli at bay for long, and she’s keeping a secret from them that is the biggest bombshell of all. Now or never, she’s got to make the decision of a lifetime.

Finally happy to see her make a choice for now.Lol

Always love these. Wished there was a little more inter dialogue about her thought process.

Worth the wait!

I’ve been waiting months to find out about the engagement(s)! I listened to the entire book in one day. Definitely worth the wait! One of my fav in the series.

I was left kinda confused.

The story felt like a lot of the other books in the series. It was entertaining and I enjoyed it. I was under the impression that this was supposed to be the last book. Maybe, I’m wrong. Nothing felt wrapped up to complete the series. We’ll see, I guess.

Can’t wait for next one!!!

It went by too fast! Love listening to these. The narrator does a great job making the characters come to life. Can’t wait for the next…hoping it won’t take too long to be released!!

Growing old with Stephanie Plum

I know quite a few readers get tired that Stephanie Plum hasn’t grown up since her first appearance in 1994. I figure her character hasn’t aged 30 years since her debut. I love the dialog, crazy characters with Grandma Moser and Lula being my favorites. There’s always a crazy plot which this book has and is secondary to why I keep reading this series. I did enjoy the earlier books in the series though. It will be interesting to see what the next book will bring.

Stephanie is growing up

I've read every Plum book a dozen or so times. The last couple were fun reads but this one was the familiar Lula/Stephanie I know and love. It's great Stephanie is growing as a character.

Stephanie's choices finally

That her newly decorated apartment will go to waste. Hopefully Lulu will move into it.

I hope this is it.

I hope this is the last one, regardless, it's the last for me. Stephanie has lost her fire and this book felt more like a death rattle. I'm sad to see it go, but it doesn't have the spark of the earlier books. Stephanie is sort of just going through the motions, it's worse than autopilot because there's no emotion, there aren't even any funny take downs to distract us. To keep this my comfort listening series, I'm getting out now. Goodbye Stephanie.

Spoilers!

I enjoyed this one. The story was as crazy and fun as always. It’s just that she married the wrong man. At least she left an out at the end for something to happen in future books!

Janet has done better.

Stephanie lacks maturity and has become a selfish slut...even if it is with only two men. Most disturbing to me is how she crawled out of bed with one, to call the other that she is hungry. in this book she is a user. Lula needs better weed lol
