It started out promising, even though the narrator didn’t really work for the female characters. But then it got a little boring and the narration got more annoying the more I listened. I probably would have enjoyed it more reading instead of listening.

Michelle Bardsley has been my favorite author for paranormal romance, but after starting this series I have a new favorite. it's a wonderful series.

disappointing overall. quite lacklustre.
the 2nd novel was particularly annoying and not just because I hate politics AND the glitch around Chapter 6 where it repeated part of chapter 5 (and did not complete the chapter).
the 3rd book was also a lot more political than I bargained for.
I've listened to this series totally out of order, the 4th one first; and bought the first 3 on how much I enjoyed the 4th and the good narrator

Love the stories I have read them before but the editing on this kind of sucks. Chapter 6 of book 2 skips between what it should be back to chapter 2
