Hali Waverly is a witch about town, owner of the Salty Cauldron, the best tiki bar on St. Pete Beach. Her life should be grand, but trouble keeps finding her.
Grayson “Gray” Hunter is a private investigator. Shunned by his pack for doing the right thing, he keeps to himself … until he meets Hali.
Warriors to their core, Hali and Gray don’t want to work together. When trouble keeps finding them, however, they might not have a choice.
This three-book omnibus includes Tall Tales & Witchy Fails, Witch at the End of the Tunnel, and Eat, Drink & Be Witchy.

Too bad they don’t have an adjustment for lowering the tonal value.
Screechy narrator voice

However, this narrator is possibly the best of all AML’s Audible performers. Unfortunately you’d never know since the producer set up the recording so strangely.
BUT- I’ve found if you increase the speed of playback to between 1.15-1.25 all of the strange cadence of the narrator’s tempo resolves!!
I think she recorded at her natural tempo and the publisher slowed the recording WAAAAYYYYYY…. DOOOOOOWWWNNNN…., for some reason.
The narrator has a TOTALLY lovely voice and is very talented at what she does, when allowed to perform at her natural speed of speech!
my only qualm is: it’s FAMILIAR,” - not, “FERMiliar”!
It’s NOT fermiliar 😭 (PS the main character + main male character are both exceptionally difficult to like)
