About this listen

Number-one New York Times best-selling author Lora Leigh delivers the heat with another steamy novel featuring the Mackay sisters, following Nauti Enchantress and Nauti Temptress.

Zoey Mackay is as tough and savvy as anyone. But when an unknown assailant slips her a psychoactive drug, she descends into a literal nightmare of violence and blood. And even after she wakes, the horror haunts her, spurring her to learn how to defend herself. But her defense may not be enough for a different kind of opponent.

Enigmatic Homeland Security honcho Chatham Bromleagh Doogan is a man with power and the will to use it. When he rescues Zoey from the depths of her drug-induced delirium, he swears to find the bastards who almost destroyed her spirit and make them pay. But when the shadowy threat returns, will Zoey and Doogan have the strength to hold onto each other and survive the coming storm?

Great story

You can’t wrong with McKay’s stories. One of Doug’s youngest sister believes to be one of her friends death was done by her hands. All that comes to light when it goes under investigation by a a man who has the hots for her. I definitely recommend!

Series Still Strong at Book 3

Nauti Seductress COULD be a stand-alone, but by now, you should have listened to/read the first 2 in this series and be looking forward to seeing how young artist, Zoey Mackay, can drive her big brother, Dawg, and his cousins around the bend. I'm guessing they think her falling hard for the dreaded Chatham Doogan was a little OTT, but I was totally cool with it. I really like this series, and this third full novel does not disappoint. There is a little less family interference in this one and a little more one-on-one with the H and h which is a nice change. I liked how Doogan is the big, bad, scary, Homeland Security guy to everyone else, but he's kind of a teddy bear to Zoey, even though she is tougher than he would like to think. Don't worry, he's also sexy as hell and might melt your earbuds a bit. Zoey can't end up with a dud after all. She'd be kicked out of the family. This is a great addition to the series. I liked it as much or more than the other 2, and they are all definite re-listens for me.

Manxie Hardy is the voice of this series and performs all characters well and distinctly with good pronunciation, enunciation, inflection and emotion. The highest compliment I can give is that I don't "notice" or think about there even being a narrator giving a performance. I'm just in the story because she puts me there, sets the scenes and does nothing to distract me from the action. The entire series is well worth the cash or credit. You will not be disappointed.

Loved it, Nautier than ever

Didn’t expect Zoey’s hook up or her adventures. She took after her brothers more than her sisters did. It’s always the quiet ones that fool you. As with all the others, the characters and atmosphere just comes alive in these 2 series. And I sure didn’t expect where the next book was going, can’t wait.
